West Ham launch Olympic Stadium mini survey

West Ham have emailed all 20,000 current season ticket holders to invite them to take part in a mini online survey relating to the move to the Olympic Stadium

The Email to all Season Ticket Holders says:

In the months leading up to the Olympic Stadium move the Club will be carrying out a series of short surveys of our current Season Ticket Holders. These surveys are designed to help us understand your opinion and views on specific topics regarding the new Stadium. Typically these surveys will be 3 – 5 questions long and should take you no longer than 5 minutes to complete. This first survey aims to measure your interest in introducing new Season Ticket Holders to sit with you in the new Stadium.
Season Ticket Holders who complete the survey before 5pm Friday 21 February will enter a prize draw to win a replica shirt signed by the first team. Come on you Irons!

The three questions ask: 1) Name and Email Address of the season ticket holder 2) How long you have been a season ticket holder for? and 3) How many extra season tickets you would like to buy when we move the the Olympic Stadium.

At a recent Supporters Advisory Board meeting the club admitted they only have season ticket computer records going back six years therefore they have no idea of the length of years fans have held season tickets beyond six years. When it comes to priority of moving this could become a contentious issue when one fan who has held a season ticket for six years will given the same priority as someone who has held a season ticket for forty years.

West Ham are trying to devise a scheme to move 20,000 season ticket holders to the new Olympic Stadium while giving them the option to buy more season tickets at the same time. The redesigned lower retractable tier is likely to be in higher demand but only holds around 19,000. It will be interesting to see what final solution they come up with to fairly and transparently give priority to season ticket holders choosing their seats in the Olympic Stadium

The SAB are also asking some Stadium Migration questions which can be found HERE
Closing date for the SAB questionnaire is the 28th February
