17.48 Joao Mario is tipped to join Spurs on a season log loan. They haven’t actually signed a single new player since the end of last season.
17.01 The next candidate for departure from the London Stadium is Sam Byram, who is being eyed up for a season long loan by Nottingham Forest. West Ham would rather sell, but that seems unlikely at the moment.
16.44 The £5 million signing of Lucas Perez from Arsenal will be announced this evening or tomorrow morning. I don’t know why, but I feel in my water that this could prove to be the signing of the summer – that is, if he gets his chance!

16.20 I’m scratching my head at this one, but Edimilson Fernandes is off to Fiorentina on a season long loan. Carlos Sanchez is apparently heading the other way. Christ alone knows why. From what I’ve read he’s a one man disaster zone.
16.15 Jordan Hugill is having a medical at Middlesbrough with a view to a season long loan with an option to buy. Shame he never really got a chance to show us what he’s capable of. Makes you wonder why on earth Moyes wanted him in the first place.
