Opposition Q & A

Opposition Q&A with the Pensioners

Sorry for the late opposition Q&A but this week you get two for the price of one.

First, I caught up with Official Chelsea blogger Chad from @ChelseaChadder on twitter.

1) Can Chelsea finish in the top six this season?
No

2) Which three teams do you think will suffer relegation this season?
Villa, Newcastle and Norwich.

3) How do you rate West Ham’s manager Slaven Bilic and his first season in charge of a Premier league team?
Very good. Interesting to see how he builds next season.

4) West Ham sit in fifth place after briefly occupying third but what league position can West Ham realistically achieve this season
under Bilic?

5th.

5) If you could have any current West Ham player in your team who would you choose and who would you replace to slot them
in to your first team?

Payet. He could replace almost anyone right now!

6) What is Chelsea’s achilles heel?
Their inability to keep a clean sheet.

7) 14 Supporters’ Trusts came together to petition the Government for a public inquiry about West Ham’s occupancy of the Olympic Stadium but does the fact that West Ham got a good deal bother you personally as a football fan?
No, not bothered.

8) How do you expect Chelsea to setup against West Ham on Wednesday/ Team/formation prediction?
Typical 4231 formation with Traore as the front man. May see another youngster or two now there is nothing to play for.

10) Score Prediction for Saturday?
2-1 to Chelsea.

Thanks Chad, next I spoke to Chelsea fan Denise from http://thechelseablog.org/

1) Can Chelsea finish in the top six this season?
Not a hope. Looking at our last couple of games, we’re spent.

2) Which three teams do you think will suffer relegation this season?
Villa, Norwich, Sunderland

3) How do you rate West Ham’s manager Slaven Bilic and his first season in charge of a Premier league team?
He’s done ok but it’s hard to tell in the honeymoon season. Give it til mid-season 16/17 before making that judgement.

4) West Ham sit in fifth place after briefly occupying third but what league position can West Ham realistically achieve this season under Bilic?
Realistically, 7th. I think United and Liverpool will edge you out at the finish

5) If you could have any current West Ham player in your team who would you choose and who would you replace to slot them in to your first team?
Hazard will be on his bike in the summer, so I’d say Payet would do nicely. Plenty of competition for his signature though.

6) What is Chelsea’s achilles heel?
The board’s allergy to managers

7) 14 Supporters’ Trusts came together to petition the Government for a public inquiry about West Ham’s occupancy of the Olympic Stadium but does the fact that West Ham got a good deal bother you personally as a football fan?
I’m a taxpayer, of course it bothers me. Wouldn’t hold my breath for a similar deal at Wembley

8) How do you expect Chelsea to setup against West Ham on Saturday/ Team/formation prediction?
Courtois – Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry – Mikel, Fabregas – Pedro, Willian, Oscar – Traore.

10) Score Prediction for Saturday?
I never make score predictions, it’s one of them inane football superstitions. A point is as much as we can hope for though.

Thanks Denise, I do make football predictions and I will go for a one nil victory at the Bridge for the mighty Hammers tomorrow

Come on you Irons Sean @westhamfootball on twitter
