As a band 4 season ticket holder in the Sir Trevor Brooking Lower I will have to wait until December at the earliest and February 2016 at the latest to see my virtual reality view at West Ham’s Stratford reservation centre may be like in the Olympic Stadium.
My fellow season ticket holder George Bucci came up with an alternative imaginative idea, we have booked Rugby tickets at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday the 7th November to watch England v New Zealand playing Rugby League.
By using the discount code ‘be inspired’ as we did, you can get 50% discount on your tickets too. We purchased a band 4 tickets to the right of the goal at £11 each to replicate what our view might be like watching football. I thought the Olympic Stadium Rugby seating plan (below) might be a good guide on what the lower tier banding might look like for West Ham football but when I asked a West Ham insider they said:
“As you can imagine it offers no reflection to ours. As you know things like Club London, 1966 Seats and away fans all need to be factored in and the RWC guys will have their own issues to consider as well.”
You can book Rugby tickets here www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk/beinspired
Alternatively you could fork out for the more expensive Rugby World Cup 2015 tickets of which the first game in the OS is 23rd September. This is their OS seating plan below, however on their official ticketing website http://tickets.rugbyworldcup.com it claims tickets are currently unavailable.
