10% discount for Season Ticket Holders removed

Although season ticket prices were frozen this season, the benefits available to season ticket holders have been reduced.

Season ticket holders used to receive 10% discount on all purchases of official merchandise however the small print now states this excludes all adidas products including the replica kit.

One disgruntled season ticket holder contacted me on Thursday to say he spent over £200 on the new away kit and other Adidas branded goods only to told he wasn’t entitled to any discount when he got to the check out. West Ham don’t appear to have widely publicised the removal and the only place it is listed on the benefits section of the season ticket website.

With the new home kit thought to based on a retro look of the 85-87 season coming out soon on 2nd July West Ham could face more anger from customers blissfully unaware that the discount was quietly discontinued. When I contacted a West Ham employee close to the retail side to comment about the change I was told…

“That is a shame to hear the fans were unaware despite announcing this on the benefits page the fans were not aware of this, we naturally made this clear as seen on the link you have used below. The inclusion of Adidas stock was a thanks to the fans for the first year of the Adidas agreement”
