How I came to support West Ham
Where I grew up was mainly covered by Chelsea supporters. I was therefore due to go with a friend (Morris) to see Chelsea play but another friend (Ray Kean) took me instead to Upton Park. The team included Hurst, Moore, Peters, Brooking etc, I was immediately hooked. I'm so pleased Ray intervened and led me and later my family to become hammers supporters.
My best West Ham memory
Being at Wembley and seeing the hammers beat Arsenal in the cup final. Also meeting Gheoff Hurst several years back (see photo).
The best West Ham game I’ve ever seen
Several, but one sticks out in the late 60s beating Leicester City, which included a Martin Peters volleyed goal.
