How I came to support West Ham

Supporting West Ham was a choice for me, but heavily influenced by my dad. He has supported West Ham his whole life, as did my grandad. I will always admit that when I was younger, I did have a stint when I supported Liverpool purely because I was a big fan of Michael Owen and that's who he played for at the time, but I always knew that I was born to wear the claret and blue with pride.

My best West Ham memory

An easy choice. It has to be the nPower Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium. That whole day was simply amazing. I recorded the whole day and made a video diary just to remind me how exciting and special it was. I will never forget that moment of relief when Ricardo Vaz Te smashed the ball into the net and the crowd went wild. If I had to dig deeper for an exact moment that day which was my favourite memory, it would be standing there when the players were walking round the pitch and 'Bubbles' started being played over the sound system. I smile simply sitting here typing about it.

The best West Ham game I’ve ever seen

Although the nPower Championship Play-Off Final was my favourite memory, I think my favourite match would be when Manchester United came to town and got smashed 4-0 in the Carling Cup. I spent weeks bigging up Jonathan Spector to friends and family and he
