About me

I am married to Deb, Ruby wedding anniversary this year. We have 2 grown up daughters, one of whom plays for West Ham FC Women. The other being a Speech & Language Therapist and I am immensely proud of both of them. I love most sports and enjoy going to the gym. Other likes include travelling and dining out.

How I came to support West Ham

My Dad was an Orient supporter and I watched them when they went up to Division 1 with Liverpool in the early sixties. But when we moved to a new house, one of my neighbours asked if I would like to go to watch a West Ham game. I went, and I was hooked. So I've witnessed many ups and downs with the Irons.

My best West Ham memory

The whole day when West Ham beat Arsenal to win the FA Cup. After the game my wife to be made her first visit to London and when she saw everyone draped in flags, singing and dancing and the cars tooting their horns, she asked if that was what it was like every saturday night.

The best West Ham game I’ve ever seen

West Ham 3 - 1 Eintracht Frankfurt back in 1978. An unbelievable match and atmosphere.
