About me
Aspiring sports journalist, with a passion that was ignited by West Ham United. Everything I say is what I truly believe.
How I came to support West Ham
Living in Dagenham, the closest club to me was West Ham (we even lived minutes from the training ground). My dad started taking me to West Ham games from young, my first being a friendly against Napoli in 2009. Never considered changing teams from then on, I only ever had love for the Hammers. Fell in love with the atmosphere at the Boleyn, the chants. I specifically remember loving Carlton Cole, all because of his chant he had. I felt a connection to the club, one that no other club could replicate. Admittedly, for a couple years, I slowly began not going to as many games and was less interested as I was once was. That was until Declan Rice came through, as we shared a last name (no relation however). This just deepened the existing connection to the club, and I fell back in love with the game.
My best West Ham memory
The Conference League win for me. I never thought I would see West Ham lift a European trophy in my lifetime. Not only that, but it was the first trophy I had seen them lift which made it feel even sweeter.
The best West Ham game I’ve ever seen
