About me

Came to the party late. Started supporting in 2004. I was cricket mad before then.

How I came to support West Ham

Lived in Essex all my life and was never one to take the easy route of supporting one of the so called big “successful teams” I liked the unbridled joy of winning a game and became all too familiar with the despair of losing a game. It was the unpredictability what done it for me. Father lived in Plaistow in the 70s.

My best West Ham memory

The game in the snow - the 4-0 win over Manchester United in November during that miserable 2010/11 season. I had low expectations of the game beforehand, I was upset that Jonathan Spector was starting the match and he became my hero by the end of the game. Not forgetting CC’s two goals. Glorious.
