About me
I'm a Kiwi who has spent most of my life supporting the Hammers...1975 it all began to be precise, after we beat Fulham 2-0 to win the FA Cup.
I spent three years in London in the 1989s which clinched my love of the club. Spent a lot of 1985-86 season home and away so enjoyed a special time.
How I came to support West Ham
As a kid I watched highlights of 1975 Cup final win and loved the crest and the Bubbles. That was it. Me gone for life.
My best West Ham memory
The 1985-86 season. The buzz and excitement as we got closer to the top of the table, McAvennie and Cottee's goals, Devonshire, Parked, Martin and Gale. Happy days.
The best West Ham game I’ve ever seen
Beating Chelsea 4-0 at the Bridge with a brilliant Alan Devonshire goal and then two beauties from Tony Cottee and a typical McAvennie sharp finish. Two days later we beat Spurs 2-1 in a midday kickoff 1986. Upton Park was packed to the rafters.
