About me

Season ticket holder in the Billy Bonds Stand, with my dad, sister and cousins. Had a season ticket for 11 years in the West Lower at Upton Park. Writer of match previews on WHTID since August 2014 - my player write-ups are now making their way onto the Players Archive on our new site here.

How I came to support West Ham

My Dad's been a supporter since 1964; he took me to my first game when I was eight years old, a 2-1 home defeat to Manchester City in September 1991. Been a regular match attender ever since and had my first season ticket in 1994/95. Now follow the Hammers home and away - have visited 45 of the current 92 league grounds.

My best West Ham memory

The final game at Upton Park, 3-2 win against Man Utd. Incredible atmosphere, a team brimming with style, attacking fervour, and a never-say-die attitude. A game, and a win, fitting for the occasion.

The best West Ham game I’ve ever seen

As above. 90 minutes which was West Ham United in a microcosm. Played well, nearly threw it away, got the result over the line in the end.
