West Ham Till I Die

What can i say.... West Ham Til I Die!

  • From: Brentwood, United Kingdom
  • Born: 1955

About me

Retired old bugger, used to sit on my dads shoulders in the old west enclosure at upton park. My very first memory is of our Bobby scoring from the half way line against Arsenal but I cant remember the result. Cried all the way home when Geoff Hurst had his penalty saved by Banks in the cup semi-final. Bought a ticket off a tout for the 1980 cup final and ended up on my own bang in the middle of the Arshole fans.... that was squeaky bum time i can tell you.

How I came to support West Ham

Dad, Grandad, Uncle all Hammers fans..... we lived in Greatfield Avenue just up by the A13 so no choice really!

My best West Ham memory

No contest..... Upton Park

The best West Ham game I’ve ever seen

Beating Liverpool 3-1 at Upton Park, best referee performance i have ever seen.
