Transfer Deadline Day Thread

22.36 Enner Valencia is now an Everton player. Everton will pay his £40,000 per week wages in full plus a £1.5m loan fee with an option to buy at £14.5m at the end of the season. I wonder what the odds are on that payment being made.
22.35 Absolutely gutted that Diego Poyet’s contract has been cancelled. Love to know the full backstory here. In the 2015-16 pre season he was outstanding.
22.08 Development Squad player Luka Belic is joining Motherwell on a season long loan.
20.49 Arbeloa confirmed. On WHUFC.com
20.23 WHUFC.com has confirmed Doneil Henry’s loan move to Denmark.
20.07 Lee Clayton thinks Diafra Sakho’s move to West Brom might be back on. If it is, that leaves us rather exposed up front if Valencia goes too.
19.30 Former Hammer George Moncur who moved to Barnsley from Colchester in the summer, has been load out to Peterborough. Thought you’d like to know.
19.27 Everton now seem to be firm favourites to sign Enner Valencia. The deal seems to be a loan with a £14.5 million option to buy. Hmmm. You know what I’m thinking. don’t you?!
17.41 It seems Swansea have rivals for Valencia’s signature on loan. Everton are now in for him too, according to The Bleacher Report.
17.39 2Claret & Hugh":http://www.claretandhugh.info/arbeloa-passes-medical-says-report/? say that Arbeloa has passed his medical.
16.42 Silly story in the French media that Payet is off to PSG for £55 million. Where do they get this rubbish from? Hopefully those are not words that will come back to bite me.
16.38 The Evening Standard win today’s award for most ridiculous article of the day. Apparently we need cover at left back, so Robbie Brady is tipped to join. Much as I like Brady, the Standard seem to have forgotten that we have got the brilliant Arthur Masuaku. They also say Tom Carroll might join from Spurs. Can’t see that either.
15.35 The Enner Valencia move to Swansea on loan is still very much on according to a whole host of websites.
15.34 Doneil Henry is on his way to Danish side AC Horsens on loan, according to the Daily Mail.
15.20 Sky Sports reporting that World Cup winner Alvaro Arbeloa is about to sign. He played for Liverpool and is currently at Real Madrid for whom he has played 155 times, scoring three goals. He will be cover and mentor for Sam Bryam.
14.37 According to an ITK on Twitter a medical has been booked at The Spire, Roding this afternoon. Oh well, something to report!
13.33 Fiorentina look set to sin Pedro Obiang on loan with a view to a £4.5 million deal, which seems incredibly cheap to me. Why do we always undervalue the players we sell? More from SportWitness?
12.48 Jack Sullivan has tweeted “Maybe one player coming in today!!!”. Maybe. Possibly. Could be.

12.47 Look at this fantastic goal last night from West Ham’s Toni Martinez…

12.42 Ravel Morrison has still to find a club. I’d take him back in a heartbeat… Which explains why I am a radio presenter and not a football manager.
12.40 Slimani is about to sign for Leicester for £29 million. Remember when we could have had him for £6 million a couple of years ago?!
12.25 Bony chose Stoke instead of West Ham because he wouldn’t have to move his kids, according to the Mirror
11.47 Or the right back target could be Dominic Iorfa at Wolves. Claret & Hugh? has the latest.
11.19 It’s being reported that Man chester United’s Matteo Darmian might be our target to provide cover for Sam Byram.
11.18 The Daily Mail reminds us that it was 10 years ago today that Carlost Tevez and Javier Mascherano came to West Ham.
10.30 I’m heartbroken. Wilfried Bony is having a medical at Stoke. I wonder if this will be seen as the one that got away.
10.29 The loan deal for Reece Burke to go to Wigan for the season has been completed.
10.16 Various outlets report that Chelsea are keen to sign Angelo Ogbonna.
10.15 Jack Sullivan has denied on Claret & Hugh? that West Ham might sign Aston Vila right back Micah Richards. There was a time when I’d have loved him to come to us.
10.14 The Express report that Enner Valencia could be involved in a £12 million move to Swansea. One can but hope.
