What a huge disappointment. Thirty five minutes against ten men and we barely had a shot on goal. Bad day at the office, which is not unusual for us at St Mary’s.
1. You couldn’t say any West Ham player performed higher than 6 out of 10.
2. To put it in perspective it’s only our second defeat in 13 games.
3. We looked leggy – slow.
4. A bit odd to put Andy Carroll on and then take both the wingers off.
5. Emenike didn’t exactly set the game on fire. One off target header and some needless giving away of the ball.
6. Valencia’s shooting was all over the place.
7. Has Alex Song ever hit a shot from outside the area which has been on target?
8. Third game in a row that Payet has been largely ineffective.
