Latest Issue of Blowing Bubbles: Kouyate "Life Under Slaven is Very Different to Sam"

The latest issue of BLOWING BUBBLES is out. West Ham’s battling midfielder Cheikou Kouyate has revealed life under Slaven Bilic is a very different experience to working with Sam Allardyce.

In an exclusive and wide-ranging interview with Blowing Bubbles Monthly he said he hoped this would be proven in improved form to sign off West Ham’s 112-year stay at the Boleyn Ground in the style it deserved. ‘Slaven Bilic is a manger who likes to take risks,’ he said. ‘He wants to play exciting football, and that’s a very different tactic to last season. It’s our last year here, so all the players want to battle and make sure we give a really good performance in this final season here.’

During a photocall organised by the club’s official outfitters Apsley Tailors, Blowing Bubbles’ Julian Shea also spoke to youngster Martin Samuelsen who believes the future looks bright for West Ham and does not see too many comparisons between the Hammers and his former club, Manchester City. ‘I think there will be big positive changes at West Ham [following the Olympic Stadium move], and the team will climb the table, which is great, but I don’t think there’s going to be as much money being pumped in here as there was at City – and I think that’s a good thing,’

Elsewhere in the October issue of the magazine, George Parris explains why he feels our Champions League flops are no laughing matter. ‘If English teams continue to struggle there is a real chance Uefa will cut the number of spots available to Premier League teams – with the number being cut back to three from the current four… [This] will make the challenge of getting into Europe even harder for the rest of the league.’

Blowing Bubbles also asks whether or not Victor Moses will finally live up to the hype, if Andy Carroll is now drinking in the very last chance saloon and if James Tomkins has done enough to become our main right back.

They also explore how the Rugby World Cup has given West Ham fans s a huge hint of the future in our new home and how Matthew Etherington’s story proves we can all battle with our demons

The latest issue of Blowing Bubbles Monthly is now available to read for FREE on your computer, tablet or mobile phone.
