If Carl Jenkinson signs a new contract with Arsenal as the Mirror suggests HERE? should that alter our view that we should have him back at Upton Park for a second season?
I’d love us to sign him permanently, but if he signs a new Arsenal contract he’s going to cost us a lot more in wages and his heart clearly still lies at the Emirates.
I’m not saying he wouldn’t be fully committed to us, but maybe we should take this as a sign that we should look elsewhere.
Wouldn’t it be great to find another Aaron Cresswell in the Championship, for instance.
