Bobby Moore: The Definitive Biography by Jeff Powell, paperback, £9.99. Get it for £7.99 on Amazon or £7.49 from The Robson Press This classic book has been updated and reissued twenty years after the death of the greatest man ever to grace the turf of Upton Park.

They Played With Bobby Moore by Tim Crane, hardback, £25. Buy it HERE. Newly issued, a treasure trove of memories and anecdotes from those who played with the England and West Ham captain. A real labour of love, and one for the real West Ham connoisseur.

West Ham: When Football Was Football by Iain Dale. £18.99. Buy it HERE Possibly the best West Ham book ever :). Lots of fabulous unseen pics of West Ham’s history.

There’s Only One Stevie Bacon by Steve Bacon. Bargain price £7.99. Buy it HERE. A fixture at Upton Park for several decades, Steve Bacon tells the story of his time photographing the team and matches. Hugely entertaining. Safe to say that he and Alan Pardew didn’t hit it off.

An Irrational Hatred of Luton by Robert Banks. Bargain price of £2.99. Buy it HERE Possibly the best book ever written by a genuine football fan, Banks tells the story of his West Ham travails in the 1990s, along with his love life. If you’re a true West Ham fan and you haven’t read this book you don’t know what you have been missing.

My Life in Football by Trevor Brooking. £20.00. Buy it HERE The book reads as elegantly as you’d expect as Sir Trevor takes us behind the scenes of his West Ham and England career.

Bobby Moore: The Man in Full by Matt Dickinson. £9.00. Buy it HERE One of the most highly rated sports biographies of the year this surely has to be one of the best presents a West Ham fan could get. It’s certainly not a hagiography, but is all the better for it.

Mr Moon has Left the Stadium by Jeremy Nicholas. Bargain price £4.99. Buy it HERE Former stadium announcer Jeremy Nicholas reveals the behind the scenes incidents from more than ten years of doing the job. And oh how many of wish he was still doing it.

War Hammers: The Story of West Ham in the First World War by Brian Belton. £9.99. But it HERE A charming and moving book detailing what happened to the West Ham players who went to fight in the Great War.

John Lyall by Philip Stevens. Hardback £20. Buy it HERE A recent publication this book tells you everything you ever wanted to know about the most successful manager in West Ham’s history. Two FA Cup triumphs and West Ham’s highest ever top league finish speak for themselves.
