I am sad to tell you that, due to a family bereavement, Brian Williams will not be writing his regular Tuesday column for a while. He has asked me to pass on to you his apologies but that he hopes to be back early in the New Year. Brian has been a real hit and we will miss him greatly for the next few weeks. I will of course try to find a substitute to fill the gap he will leave.
Now for a couple of apologies from me. Firstly, I buggered up the Predictor League this week. It was totally my fault in that I mistakenly put the deadline for Thursday, even before it was open. It won’t happen again.
Also, you will have noticed that I haven’t written much of late, or indeed commented. My work life at the moment is such that it has been difficult to find time to do anything, so I am doubly grateful to all those like Sean, SJ, David and Bianca who have kept you all entertained.
