Afternoon! We’re running live blogs from now until the early hours of Saturday morning bringing you the very latest news and gossip from the last day of the January transfer window. 18.53 Harry Redknapp has made a late enquiry for Maiga.

18.14 Apart from Razvan Rat being paid up and released today it appears all transfer business is now done for West Ham unless some last minute offer comes in for one of our players. I understand there have been no offers for Maiga or Diarra so far with less than 5 hours left (SW)

17.25 Razvan Rat is to be released! Rat could set for a move to Turkish club Besiktas – just six months at West Ham. According to Lee Clayton, the defender is being allowed to leave West Ham following the arrival of Pablo Armero on loan from Napoli. Hugh Southon claims that Rat’s contract had a clause which earnt him a new contract if he played in 60% of matches this season. So far he has played in 20 of the 27 required.

16.57 Sam Allardyce will now turn his attention to Genk striker Jelle Vossen as the transfer clock ticks down claims Tony Beaker on Sports Direct News.Vossen, 24, has scored 12 goals for Genk this season but after recent defeats, the Belgian forward is apparently looking for a way out of the club. 16.11 Napoli appear to have officially confirmed Pablo Armero loan to West Ham on their official twitter account. Google Translation: Napoli announced that he had yielded to the @ Armero7 @whufc_official until end of season (SW)

16.07 Big Sam on Sky Sports News being interviewed through a Car Window to rival Harry, He said “If we do any more business it’ll be be one more on loan. 15.02 West Ham remain in fierce negotiations to sign Napoli’s Pablo Armero. Hugh Southon on his Claretandhugh blog understands that talks have been going on throughout the day with the player’s agent and that a deal is now starting to look likely. However, a well placed source close to the negotiations said the club was hopeful it could get the deal done before the end of the day.Armero is still in Napoli and should the two sides agree will have his medical in Italy before travelling to London.
And there will be no problems with a work permit as he has played in 93 per cent of Colombia’s internationals. (SW)

15.01 RUMOURS that Newcastle were about to make an approach for West Ham’s Mark Noble have been played down.The midfielder is well known to Alan Pardew and some stories last night appeared to have the London born man coming in as a replacement for Yohan Cabaye.However it has been confirmed that Noble is currently training with West Ham and there are no plans for either him or his agent to travel to Tyneside. 14.06 West Ham are close to signing Napoli’s left-sided player Pablo Armero, “The deal should have gone through within hours,” a source in Italy told SportsDirect News (SW)

14:00 Neil McDonald is expecting Ravel Morrison to stay at West Ham this January and says there has been no new offer from Fulham. He said: “I would imagine Ravel will be staying until I’m told otherwise.He has been training and is a creative player who we will need.” (SW)

12.33 West Ham assistant boss Neil McDonald remained coy over a deadline day move for Manchester City’s Joleon Lescott. He said “Joleon Lescott is Manchester City’s player and, until that changes, I cannot comment, It’s all speculation, we’re trying to improve and if we can get anybody else in, that would be a bonus. We’ll have a look at what our reports say and, if there is anything going, the manager is dealing with those enquiries.” (SW)
