The fact that only the two central defenders and the goalkeeper score more than six out of ten tells its own story. I cannot recall a game where you have scored the players so lowly. But the fact of the matter is but both they AND the manager deserve it.
Just a quick word about the fact that Russell is currently working on a new comments system, which will hopefully meet the concerns of most of you. Comments will return to being below a post. They will continue to have sub-roots, but the newest comment will show first. To avoid scrolling through hundreds of comments there will be 20 main comments per page (plus their roots). The realtime element will be retained but in a different way. It will be like Twitter where as soon as someone leaves a comment it will say ‘1 New Comment’. You then click on that bit and the comment appears. So it will be slightly less realtime but I’m afraid there was no other way to stop the constant jumping around. Anyway, it should be ready in the next couple of days, so we’ll see what you make of it.
UPDATE: The Daily Mail is reporting that Stewart Downing is out for three weeks with a leg injury.
