There are rumours that Zola and Clarke have a cause in there contracts that should a big club want them they can leave West Ham if thats true they should leave now and not pretend that they are there for the long term we need the truth from Duxberry now
NOW THEN PEOPLE! HAVE BEEN GATHERING A LITTLE INFORMATION AND I MIGHT NOT BE AS BRIGHT AS MY FELLOW SUPPORTERS. IF YOU OWE SOMEONE MONEY AND THEY CANT PAY IT BACK YOU WANT SOMETHING IN RETURN. GUDMENSSON, WELL I CANT SPELL DID OWN WEST HAM UNITED AND ALL OVER THE NEWS CB HOLDING ARE THE NEW OWNERS. CB HOLDINGS ARE A COMPANY OWNED BY STRATMORE BANK IN ICELAND. MAYBE GUDMENSSON OWED MONEY TO THAT BANK PLENTY OF MONEY AND THE ONLY WAY TO GET SOME BACK IS TAKE AN ASSET AND THAT IS OUR BELLOVED WEST HAM UNITED. THAT BANK HAS BEEN NATIONALISED LIKE THE ONES IN OUR COUNTRY SO THE TAX PAYERS IN ICELAND ACTUALLY OWN OUR CLUB. ARE THESE CB HOLDINGS REALLY THERE FOR THE CLUB NO! THEY WANT THERE MONEY WHAT GUDMENSSON OWES PROBLY WEST HAM GET THE SHORT END OF THE STICK. AND CB HOLDINGS HAVE ALLREADY ANOUNCED THEY ARE UP FOR OFFERS GRRRRRRRRRRRR
Can someone please tell me who the creditors are that west ham must pay by the 11 December2009 as per sky sports today what the hell is going on at this club
Everyday I use your website to get/stay updated on any clubnews and facts. First of all, thank you for making such a great website. Especially the interview with SD were a great read, amazing job!
As a mobile internet user, I very much enjoy the internet version of your website. Only one thing is missing: when I save a shortcut of this site, the icon on my mobile desktop is just a screenshot. What would really make it perfect, would be seeing the WH logo as a shortcut. You think you could do this (I am not that much into these applications, so I am sorry to not be able to tell you how).
Thank you in advance and keep up the very very good work!
I read on a german football site , that Schalke 04 is interested sinning Faubert as a right back.
If Neill leaves aswell , who will stabilise our defence?
Hi Iain, As one of the old school of WHTID I have noticed some of the bad language is steadily creeping back. on your last post re; Reo Coker some idiot called Quinny left a far from favourable rant. I know you have your rules section and I know it must be difficult for you to keep up with the moderating, but there are regulars such as SJ, Celtic and a few others who could help you out,
Regards
There is only one word being talked by most west Ham supporters and that word is relagation How can a premier league club go into the new season with one forward no right back no new signings except kids and a loan I think that Zola and Clarke have lost the plot or they are being brainwashed by that idiot Duxberry and Nani another complete waste of money The supporters need to know what the hell is going on season ticket sakles are down I wonder why Lets hope that Ian can find out more or we are all doomed
I thought you might like to know that our West Ham Chanting, Dancing Toy will be available soon.
We’ve done Liverpool. Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd so West Ham were next on the list.
Hi Ian, in light of recent events I was wondering if you would put out a new blog aimed at the transfer dealings of the club this summer. There has been a stream of critism aimed at the club, Duxbury and Nani. I’d just like to know how far these guys would have gone to have got Balotelli, Mancini, Gudjohnson, Toni or Chamakh into the club … In lieu of the telegaraphs view of our accounts I think Dux n co have acted admirably and although there has been no official announcement from the club it is believed the Chamakh deal broke down pretty late in the day having looked to be going through. Plan B for a mercenary on silly wages never happened, however there is a huge split in opinion on either watching the youngsters come through or the likes of Benjani and Viduka. A devil’s advocat blog I think might prove interesting to those on both sides of the fence …. and at the end of it now is the time to get on the bus and move forward with what we have
Hi Iain,
Just had a thought that we will get a collection going at our shop, and see how much we can raise for our War Heroes,My WIFE Penny will get the printing done today,l will let you know how we are doing in the next week or so. l should hope that we will get quite a few hundred quid, most of our customers are Westham die hards, should be interesting to see how much we can get .Ken’s cafe out then !!!!!
West Ham is my favourite football team in England. Here in Brazil my team is Santos Futebol Clube. (best team of america 20 century, Pelé team)
WHUFC is knonw in Brazil because of movies “Green Street Hooligans” and “Rise of the Footsoldier ” and Steve Harris from Iron Maiden . I like Heavy Metal too !
Unfortunaltly, West Ham T-Shirt’s are difficult to find in sports store in Brazil, includ here in São Paulo City.
I Hate Arsenal, Manchester United , Liverpool and Chelsea because are more popular here too ( TV and T-Shirt’s ), and I want to show my West Ham T-Shirt in the Streets of São Paulo City , because i know as be supporter of a less popular team*…
… AND I WANT TO CHANGE THAT !!!!!
* Santos FC is more popular in Santos City.
Thank you , Hammers!!! Sorry my “little english”!!!

HELLO IAIN , & all hammer fans , im pete from dagenham essex , i loved the hitler video on you tube , me & my wife & kids were in stiches, i been a hammer fan since the early 70s , back in the days of the great ( POP ROBSON ) i am 45 years of age , work on the railway for 22 years now , i only just discover this website , i orginally come from manor park E12 , just a mile from west ham football ground , i used to live in berkeley rd , just 3 blocks away from the ruskin arms pub , were ( IRON MAIDEN ) used to play , of course the bass player steve harris & lead singer bruce dickinson are hammer fans too ,
Hi Iain and fans, although now in Aus (2 years and loving it) I was a season ticket holder for many years and so am not surprised by how the season is panning out. The advantage of living here is I get to see every game home and away live on TV albeit at silly 'O'clock in the morning and without the shit at work next day from some Spurs fans.
The key for me is that every week we have to make changes to the line up either through injury or suspension, having a settled side is the number one priority and until we get that the silly mistakes continue, the Bolton game was obvious that Green and the defence were on different wave lengths. Of course we need players but quality and fit ones, as Ashton was planned to return and hasn't and even before that we were a striker short surely we are now 2 short and three if Cole is out for an extended period, a right back is a must but then we didn't exactly look very hard for one in the summer. Zola made some remarks a few weeks ago or perhaps Nani (hardly earns his salary) about us scoring lots therefore not needing replacements, shows how stupid that remark was.
New owners with passion, patience and money are key and it that order but even without them we have the $5m from Collins and savings from wages written off last year when the likes of Neil went. Even in today's market if we sold Upson for 10m surely that would create enough budget for 3 new quality players given the history over the last 18 months.
By the by i know you are a lover of the Scott the CEO but can you imagine any other business that would retain him after costing the company 20M quid which is what Tevez has done. It would have been cheaper to buy him at the start, let alone the fact that he seems to have avoided any charges of corruption personally.
Great site Ian
Being a long time Hammer supporter in the United States I don't get every game on tv, thank you for filling me in on the games that I cannot see like yesterdays game against Spurs. I find your website to be better then KNUMB which is mostly rumour filled and negative and the official West Ham site which is fluff and propaganda. Thanks for putting in the time that you do on it. It is an honest fellow fans opinion on the dream or curse, that is my relationship with West Ham.
Happy New Year
Dave
Iain – have you seen the BBC Hardtalk interview with David Sullivan? Probably covers most of what you know but another insight to our new joint-owner http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00qllqv/HAR...
Cheers Terry
Dear Iain,
I contacted you a while ago asking advice for becoming a journalist like yourself. I've taken what you said on board and created a blog. I'd really appreciate it if you took a look and for the rest of this site to see it – http://a-funny-old-game.blogspot.com/,
Thanks in advance,
Rich
I’m hearing a very strong rumour that a certain T.Brown is in the frame to buy back the Hammers – I certainly hope not!!!!!
Iain, Take a look at this story
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1176699/Sheffield-United-Well-forget-West-Ham-did-us.html?ITO=1490
I am incensed!!!
Iain,
Is it “West Ham ’til I Die!” or “West Ham ‘Till I Die!”, with a capital T and two lls in “‘Till”?
Regards,
Tony.
There are rumours that Zola and Clarke have a cause in there contracts that should a big club want them they can leave West Ham if thats true they should leave now and not pretend that they are there for the long term we need the truth from Duxberry now
Hi Iain,
Hope you are well? Have you seen this link below?
http://www.footballshirtculture.com/09/10-kits/west-ham-united-2009-10-away-umbro-kit-leaked.html
If this is the new away kit what do you think? Can you do a poll to see if people like it or not?
Cheers

Hi Iain…can you do a piece on the new home shirt for 09/10? Personally, I think it’s rubbish – where are the blue sleeves?
