The pursuit of Argentine playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme is finally over after the player signed a contract extension at Boca Juniors. Indeed, he would have been an interesting yet expensive player to have on the books but i believe it is good he didnt sign a deal with West Ham as at 32 he would have had no sell on value and was just looking for as much money as possible before retiring. Hopefully we now concentrate our efforts on a better value of player that will also represent good business.
Josh Payne, released by West Ham at the end of the season, has signed a six month deal with Doncaster Rovers. I always thought he looked like he had a fair bit of potential, but obviously the management felt he wasnt up to standard so chose not to offer a new contract. Good luck to him at Doncaster and throughout his career.
David Beckham has allegedly promised to give West Ham an answer as to whether he wishes to finish his career at the club very soon. I can see both sides of the arguement as to why he would be good and bad for West Ham; for the increased revenue he would be ideal, however he wont come cheaply and his wages will surely be too much for West Ham. Perhaps the owners believe he will fund himself with the extra merchandise sales and bums-on-seats.
West Ham are being linked with another French full-back, this time Laurent Bonnart. The ex-Marseille defender is available on a free, similarly to Clerc, but is a few years his senior. For me, Clerc seems the better option, although there seem to be some question marks over his long term fitness, and this is perhaps why Grant has moved on to finding a new right back to challenge Julien Faubert.
Once again, there is much else to report on players in. It would seem the Remy deal is far from complete as Nice look to gain as much money possible. No more is being said on Clerc however Milton Caraglio and Stephen Wessels both represented West Ham last night in the friendly match again MK Dons so its possible a deal for either one of those players may come about soon!

Alexander Hleb is availiable for 4 million,he can play?
£4m for Hleb = Deal, id also take Flamini, both would be awesome signings for us.
I'd take him for 4 million!
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6284… …the latest on Beckham
Hopefully not Caraglio he was awful last night. Looked unfit and barely interested. Anis Ben-Haitra seemed a much better prospect, quick, lively and worked his socks off. Worth a punt on a free at least.
1st half we saw typical Diamanti. Almost scored from open play with a shot from the centre circle and then almost blasted the ball out of the stadium from an edge of the box set peice.
Green made a couple of good saves and looked confident. Tomkins played well. Upson fine. Parker good in glimpses, lots of simple passes from Kovac and he didn't lose possession but he didn't really seem to do anything of note for a change! Stanilas had a shocker apart from one move, apart from that his 2nd touch was a tackle.
Game changed last night with the 7 substitutions. First time I've seen a team actually improve with so many subs on all at once. Cole looked excellent, Benni, Noble, Faubert, Da Costa all looked good. Didn't see enough of Fred Picq' to make an opinion. Wessels seemed ok.
Boring 1st half, game got better on the hour mark. No thanks for Caraglio.
Is that Anis guy a free agent?
Hope so because he is a young prospect and he is a threat!
Caraglio,s knee injury must still carrying on a bit and maybe that,s why he looks a bit unfit.
Another win, another clean sheet, and we have seen players in different positions and switching sides through the games.
Looks promising!
Thanks for the match report Elf, I read it on the WestHam site but you never get the full picture the way you do from someone who saw the game.
Cheers mate.
cheers mate your a prat
Do we need Remy with all this reluctance to sign for us?
Carlton Cole seems to be starting the pre season very well, but would anyone put money on him surviving injury free.
Beckham is well past it and would be a crap football team signing, I for one would hate having him as a glamour signing.
Clerc and any other defensive names are welcome as defense is the foundation to build upon, and the Premeirship is going to be a tough place to be this year, I am praying for mid-table finish with a good team passing and attacking in the knowledge their have a defense that can cope under pressure.
Well I can hope can't I?
this bonnart is a left back, no left backs we need a rightback please!
We don't need another striker,we need a fast center half who can sweep up behind Dacosta or Upson,I'll be over the moon if this Remy fella don't come, to much agro! Also Hope Parkers made captain.
Anyone know what formation it was last night? 4 3 3 etc….
4-3-3 Chris with Faubert playing in the front 3 on the right.
we don't need a striker,we need a pacey center half.
faubert behrami tomkins can do a job at RB
agreed, a pacey centre half would be great.
I don't know much about this Ben-Hatira that played last night and don't know how he and Caraglio did, anyone who went to the game, id love to know how they did and if we should bother signing them.
As for Becks, id love him to come to us, i went to an England game about a year ago and Becks has still got it, pin point accuracy with his cross field passes, i think he would be excellent in the dressing room aswel.
We are in desperate need of a solid right back and another pacey Centre back. Clerc will be good as a right back or Richards from Man City, i would also like Onouha from City. Would be a good addition.
The Remy sage is still going on and i am rather bored of it now, if you don't want to play for us, then tell us so we can look elsewhere, Assamoah Gyan, the Ghana forward would be a good buy.
Elsewhere, i think were fine for keepers as i liek the look of both Stech and Kuruch, Left back, id go for Belhadj, excellent player with a lot of pace, and 1 more winger, Kevin Prince Boateng, really want this fella at Upton Park.
Braderz, Belhadj signed for a middle east club weeks ago so he has been a non-starter for some time. If Ilunga is finally fir we are OK at left back with him and Daprela. Grant seems to be playing Faubert higher up the pitch so it's a right back we are desperate for although Tomkins appears to have done pretty well there in pre-season. Agree with you on the need for a centre back with some pace. Oh, and a bit of skill would be useful.
Oh what a shame, i really liek Belhadj, missed an oportunity tere then, never mind.
Caraglio was by far the worst man on the pitch he was slow with had poor control and looked very unintrested.
Ben-Hatira looked ok he made some good runs but i would have to take a better look at him. he was alot better that stan last night who was so poor. one intresting point from last night was that tomkins played the 1st half at right back and spector played the 2nd even thou faubert was on. looks like Grant wants faubert higher up the pitch.
Looks like Man City are going to have trouble naming their 25. They're going to have a number of international players who wont even get to kick a ball all season! Some of them only signed for them a year ago!
What a waste of talent.
Lets take a few players of there hands:
Richards for Right Back
Onouha for Centre Back
De Jong for Centre Mid (if God forbid, Parker leaves)
Bellamy for striker (yes hes a hot head but id love him back)
I see some good bussiness here!
Same, Onouha would be the best signing I believe
yeah i agree and i think we'd be able to get him as city are gonna have too loan out and sell alot of players to make the 25 man squad.
man city have 15 home grown over 21's, so need to get rid of a few to have space for their superstars! personally i would love to get onouha…am i right in thinking he turned us down january deadline day in 2009?
am i right in thinking Cole has scored three in three now? Amazing what the boy can do when he actually gets service.
3 in 4 skinny Chris, he didn't score in our last match, Hitzlsperger scored the only goal in a 1-0 win.
cole looked realy good when he came on last night and all our better moves involved him.
Sounds like Ben-Hatira is a good player
21 and on a free – surely worth it?
This 25 squad business will surely benefit us and prove a stumbling block for teams like Man City – I'm looking forward to the new season, nerves are starting to kick in a bit though… Hopefully our Pre-season form continues (whats the odds on us winning every game this year?
)
I hope to see you all in Munich in May 2012 and then in Japan in December 2012!
And we’ve still got barrea to see, plus I reckon this young lad from Ajax will tip up too, happy hammer right here. Also really like the way the two David’s are running the club.
Here is something I thought I would never post but I dont think we should sell Carlton Cole. His form preseason has been excellent and from the highlights his finishing and all round play have improved greatly.
His work last night to set up Faubert and the pace, power and finishing for his own goal was superb. We may be selling Cole just as he becomes the player past managers have always said he could be.
The thought of replacing him with a player, in Remy, who has been less than enthusiastic about joining us is worrying. Maybe we should be looking for an out and out poacher to play along side him instead of replacing him outright.
Jezes Celtic……………….. Carlton should be notified!!
Agreed but I fear his knees will be in trouble with full blooded PL centre backs tackling this season, we need back up of similar quality or trade him in against ?. Please God not Bellamy alongside Carlton he shows no loyalty except to the Queen ( printed on large notes)
Your shout on Onouha for Centre Back was inspired his fan club here is growing daily, I wonder do the Daves and Avram ever read this blog?
I would probably have been sued by them at this stage if they did considering how I have spoken about them! Of course the other way to look at is that maybe I am right in everything I say so there is no point in sueing me.
I agree there is no point in sueing (sic) you, as the word you are looking for is, I would imagine, suing. Good job you did preface "I am right in everything I say" with maybe.
Hmmmmm………………
your a prat
Agreed. He got a lot of bad press last season but the facts are he was carrying a bit of an injury and at times he literally had no support from our midfield. The way we played last season we often made it very difficult for our forwards to shine.
He's a good player and maybe after his heroics a couple of seasons ago people expected too much of him.
As for his great preseason. Perhaps the thought of being sold to stoke has spurred him on. I couldn't imagine him being better settled anywhere else than here and at the moment it looks like he's fighting for his spot. Good on you Charlton!
I hope he stays but the worry I have is his fitness. There have been some reports that his knee is going the same way as Ledley King's and that it will never get completely better.
Yeah i've heard a few rumours about his knee but i hope they are just that.
You having any regrets about not renewing your ticket?
No regrets Chris. It was not a spur of the moment decision so I'm content with it. I have bought a membership so will get to some games this season. I've applied for a ticket for the opening game at Villa but don't know if I'll get one. It's only just over an hour for me to Villa so it would seem wrong if I didn't go. There you go, it just won't go away will it?
well live far away so i dont blame you of not renewing, its a good effort being a season ticket holder for so long!
its quite hard getting tickets for some of the away games but fingers crossed you get one.
If we win you know you'll be itching to go to the next game!
As the person who originally took you to task over Cole on here, I'm pleased you have seen the light. Still, people on here say "sell him" if the price is right. And my response is always "and replace him with who exactly?"
I spent last year reminding people on here how much better Cole's recoed was from the back end of the previous season to the first half os last season PRIOR to his injury. His record was 1 in 2 yet the same people repeat the mantra on here that he is not prolific.
I sometimes wish people would form their own opinions rather than listen to their mates or the geezer down the pub, who quite frankly, knows F all.
Cole is one of the best forwards in the Premiership. He needs loving and some decent service.
I like the idea of more midfielders playing off of him. It will suit his game and bring goals to the club.
Sell Cole?
NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
Please SIGN “HLEB”
HE would be a success at west ham
Please Mr GRANT
cole will not be sold now. grant is not a idiot and we can all now see how well cole is doing. i am adamant that parker will now be kept and so will coley. i believe we will get remy on transfer deadline day at the latest due to nice realising they wont get anymore money for him. would like us to snap up clerc the frog quickly please and then a new center back! (please no ben-haim though!)
becks would be an amazing coup. but he has previuosly said he doesn't like west ham, please correct me if im wrong. the money we would get from him would be unimaginable. the amount of global fans that would also come to see him play would be rediculus. the asians fans are histerical about him and they would definitely pay over the odds for shirts and other merchandise.
WE'RE IN THE MONEY!!!
I've seen an interview with David Beckham where he said he likes west ham and that most his family and friends are West Ham supporters.
He would be a great coup but if he goes on to be an ambassador to a club it will be United and who could blame him. Its his club.
was at mk last night and when the second half subs came on the movement forward was so much better than the firt half.cole looked good and for me the star of the night was faubert as he was playing in his old position of attacking right midfielder !!! scored a goal, anouncer hang your head in shame you blind muppet !!! looked very lively.tomkins at right back worked and he looked very comfortable there.gabbs was a little slow and greeny made a great save and took some stick with it .parkers touches were superb and looked a happy hammer ,as for the new trialist argy up front …errrr no thanks
over all a good night and some good perforances but can we please attack more mr grant as we look so much better!
I hate tottenham, i hate the fact they put a rubbish bid if for Parker and i'm glad the offer was rebuffed.
But i think the Davids have a bit of a cheek to turn around and slam Levy for putting a bid in after being told he was not for sale.
'do unto others as you would have others do unto you' comes into mind. They did exactly the same to West Brom over Dorrans (even worse they did it three times). Perhaps other clubs would show a bit more respect if the Davids acted a bit respectful themselves…..saying that i doubt i'll live to see the day Harry and that spurs lot shows us any respect.
Beckham isn't coming, SSN breaking news.
I agree to a certain extent mate. they are embarrassing and I hate all this crap in the press and I wish I would stop. But I think we should give them a bit more time before we completely right them off.
I think under them we have a brighter future than we did under previous owners, and im not just talking about the Icelandic bloke. But along the way its going to be incredibly painful and we're going to see stunts like this in the future.
I personally believe they love our club and they are not in it just for the money. But they know that if they can make the club into a success it'll be a massive pay day for them.
I reckon their plan is a mixture of Arsenal's and Man City's (but on the cheap). Their plan to get us European football is focused around moving to the Olympic stadium, developing the old ground and using the money to finance good deals. they will undoubtedly take some of that money but as owners what can you do. but they know, and they aren't stupid, that if they can secure us Champions league football they can sell the club, make a tidy profit and be hailed as legends.
The question is can they pull it off? Lets give them time to find out. They are both dicks but then some of the greatest achievers in history were dicks too.
I think I'd leave the finances to people who understand them a bit more, Aka, Sullivan and Gold
Do you honestly think they don't have the Clubs' interests at heart?
Thats pretty much the point I have been making since they took over! I thought I had been more than clear on this.
For the record I have more than a passing knowledge of how finances work!
To be fair that's something that im sure they will address. They clearly have their heart set on moving there and they have a habit of getting what they want.
They're also extremely tight so it certainly wont be them picking up the tab and it wont be the club. If fact when it comes to negotiating terms I doubt there are many better suited.
As far as I know their bid involves making it a sports complex not just for football and it has the backing of the council. So they are probably trying to make it attractive enough for the government to foot the bill. If not im sure they can get a lot of the money through sponsorship deals or naming rights.
They managed to come to an agreement for man city to get an athletics ground, so im sure they can sort something out
Bit of an over reaction in my opinion
They've kept us up and stopped us becoming a club like leeds or charlton.
They've delivered on promises to bring a mixture of experience and youth players to the team (good players too)
They've so far shown a strong stance when it comes to dealing with other clubs
They've planned to achieve realistic goals, and they have proven themselves when it comes to finances
I think considering the circumstances you should cut them some slack, if you don't like what they have to say ignore it and move on
I believe they are good for the club, they're passionate
They deserve more respect than you're giving them Celtic.
What kept us up was the fact there were 3 teams worse than us in the league. If Gollivan really wanted to keep us up they would have spent £10 or £15M on striker who could have made our survival a damn site more comfortable.
What strong stance have they shown? They turned down the spuds offer of £7M for Scotty, any owner would need to have suffered severe head trauma to accept an offer like that for a player of his calibre when he has 3 years left on his deal.
How have they proved themselves with regard to the finances? They have done nothing to reduce the debt the CLAIM we are in and the only danger the club faced was the one the invented in the gutter press. They have in fact devalued the club by some £20M since the took over by buying an additional 10% from Straumur for £8m, valueing the club BELOW the level of debt they claim we are carrying. The whole club is now in negative equity if you believe what the daves say about our finances.
Then at every possible opportunity they embarass the club with their crass antics.
They proved their solid finances at Birmingham, and you can't deny they left Birmingham in a better situation than when they took over.
You're pessimism is wearing on me, I'm glad you seem to be the only West Ham "fan" who has such a miserable opinion of the club.
From now on I will be ignoring your posts, they serve no purpose.
They bought Birmingham for £1, they srtangled the club of investment, in fact the only money they invested came from a bond issue and they left the club with over £10M of hidden debts for the new owner.
Through all of this Brum spend considerably more time in the championship than in the premiership.
so this is what you tink the club deserves? A repeat of this shrine to mediocrity? This glorifying of greed and personal interests?
Sorry but I think we deserve a damn sight more than to be another Birmingham City.
Just for the hell of it why dont you reat the one that responds to this and se if you have any thing to offer by way of arguement other than bleating "coz the daves said so" as a response.
your a prat
Do you want to tell me why my original comment was removed?
would you like to point out exactly what was libelous in that post?
Basically you dont actually have an answer and nothing to back up your glib remark. Can't say I am surprised.
In fact I complete avoided mentioning that David Gold claims, in print, that discussions were held with Beckham's people. They however claim that absolutely no discussions ever took place.
They both cant be right, and given the definitive manner of both statements then one would be forced to rule out a misunderstanding. I mean a conversation either took place or it didnt, thats pretty unambiguous in my book. Meaning that one of the parties is not being genuine in what they are saying.
The question remains which party would be given the benefit of the doubt?
Master Celtic.
I do not believe Gold is a liar. His quotes do say the conversation took place a couple of months ago, which I recall was confirmed by Beckham's people at the time.
As a personal view, I think you wildly under estimate how popular Gold and Sullivan are right now with the fans.
I was at MK Dons last night and to a man, everyone was very optimistic and happy with the club's progress.
Of course, you may be proved right and they might sell us down the river, although personally I don't believe that.
What I would say to you is this. Enjoy the journey we are on right now. It is not all about the destination. It would be a shame to miss it because you are caught up with your own personal crusade.
Chill man, chill.
Here endeth the lesson.
because your a prat
There was nothing in that post that I have not stated before and certainly no abusive language so why was it removed?
I didn't read it, but I can guess what it was. You are a total waste of reading time on here, and the sole reason a lot of sensible guys have abandoned WHTID since you appeared.
Heaven forbid you should ever appear at Upton Park 'cos I know with my luck you'll be sat next to me, mind you the chances of you actually attending a game once in your life is remote. Don't bother responding to this, I'm out of here. ROSHI HAS OFFICIALLY LEFT THE BUILDING, MAINLY DUE TO YOUR STUPIDITY. YOU ARE A KNOW ALL, KNOW NOTHING!
If I had an ounce or respect for anything you have ever said, I might care.
Its the same old same old isnt roshi, have a go at anyone who doesnt think like you or didnt grow up near the ground like others were lucky enough to.
Yet through it all no one can offer anything other than "but the Dave's said" as a response and anyone who wont accept their world as gospel is harrassed by the likes of you and the rest of the mob
celtic wished id seen your contensious post problem with you is you dont toe the line and discuss 433 451 6789 ect and how you would spend someone elses millions get a life and join the licky licky bum squad lol keep up the good work
John I don't think Roshi ever posted a 4/3/2/1 type post in his life mate. Neither do I think he is of the licky licky bum squad variety.
The point he is making, albeit a little forcefully and perhaps personally, is that Celtic's posts were at onetime a joy to read. They were knowledgeable and incisive, in my view, although I know others disagree with this. Unfortunately, since D squared arrived, virtually every post Celtic makes takes a pop at the new owners. So many of us have tried to get him to moderate his language at least, but to no avail. I'm no apologist for Dale, believe me, but I rather suspect that the administrator has simply tired of his monologue of vitriol like the majority of us.
Anyways up, the Headmaster too is finally leaving the building for pastures new. For all sorts of reasons (and none of them to do with Celtic).
Headmaster if you are leaving this site because of me then please dont. If you feel you can not be part of a site because I am then I would rather leave than be the cause of you doing so.
I am sorry I simply can not go along to get along, I love this club every single bit as much as anyone on this or any other Hammers site. As for every post being about the daves that isnt the case, i spent some time discussing with Bradderz possible free agents who would do a good job for us.
Todays Beckhamgate fiasco was just the last straw for me, we were humiliated yet again by these two. Maybe enough people believe the doom and gloom that they predicted before their take over, I know its simply not true and even if I could over look that I cant take this constant self promotion at the sake of the clubs reputation, it sickens me.
With that said the offer stands, if you staying takes me going then just say so and I will bow out.
Adios, Headers.
You will be missed.
its because your a prat
What a wit you are. Its like Oscar Wilde has risen from the grave and joined this site.
This whole David Beckham thing is now sooooooooooooooo embarrising =/
Not unlike your spelling.
Sorry, cheap shot.
You best not join the leaving band wagon Lofty – your dry wit is one of the main reasons I continue to visit this site
i see all the daily mail spurs lot are at it again, mail's full of em.
Pee off Parkers not for sale unless we get Palacios Pavlychenko and keane plus dough.
King is a complete slimeball.. I'd give up my seat if we bought a degenerate like him.
Sears on a hat trick nice one son
celtic no matter how you feel about the owners, you have to keep one thing in mind, the majority of west ham fans. yes you COULD be completely accurate with your financial calculations, YES they could be trying to pocket most of the money for themselves and in turn leave us the same situation as birmingham (which looking at their exact situation i would'nt mind being them to be honest).
here are the facts:
1. they have brought in three GOOD players for bargain money.
2. when our best player was subject to a bid from one of our RIVALS (no matter how much was offered), they stood firm with statement to tell them exactly what they thought! couldn't see old terrence or egg-head doing that now, could you?
3. they are planning big things for us like the olympic stadium.
i personally am glad they are in charge. yes i find them a tad annoying with their gobbing off in the press when it comes to unrealistic signings and what not. but bloody hell give them the benefit of the doubt!
P.S. for those who have left and those thinking of leaving due to celtic's posts, i really can't understand why. so you don't agree with his posts, im sure he's not the only one you disagree with. the thumbs up/thumbs down icon is there to be used. but don't run off just because of one poster. i respect every view on here but to leave just for one (no matter how constant) makes no sense whatsoever, to me anyway…
at this moment im with Celtic I nail my colours to the mast i wont leave but i would appologise if im wrong but i dont think i will have to
By the way if anyone wants a copy of the deleted post then I have saved it so if you post an email addy I will send it on to you and you can make up your own minds.
If anyone has an email addy for either of the Daves then I will happily send it to them as well.
Leave it, son! Horse, Flogging, Dead, A comes to mind.
why? your a prat
leave it out m8 it starting to get a tad annoying
tell you what Andy anyone who wants it can have it and they can send it on to you so you can confirm it is word for word the same post that was deleted.
By the way it was media whores, not simply whores, I dont like to be quoted out of context.
Freddie is on fire with four – hopefully he will become the player we all hoped
No he won't!
dout it he is the next Hogan Ephraim.
Great to see Freddy Sears bag a hatrick tonight, even if it was in the reserves. Maybe this is the season Freddy steps up. I do hope so, he a Hammer through and through and a very hard working and selfless lad on the pitch
The key phrase here is: Even if it was in the reserves.
Sadly, Fred's dead man. Fred's dead!
He's Div One fodder at best.
Great to see you are behind our young players Lofty!
Hi Lofty, hope all is well. I'm not inclined to agree with you there unfortunately…
Having played against Fred at schoolboy level, I can assure you that he's a fantastic talent. Players don't score the amount of goals that he scored for the U-18s and Reserves unless they have talent… Fair enough he didn't live up to the hype when he pulled on a West Ham shirt for the first team, but, lets not forget that he's only 20!!
Everybody knows that strikers are confidence players – I think if his goal was allowed when he was on loan at Palace, his season would've been a whole different story.
I was waiting for him to bag some goals in order to put all of his doubters to bed!
Peter/Jack.
Just offering a dose of reality tonight.
I think if Fred was going to make it in the Prem, he would have made his mark by now.
The ruled out goal at Palace was bloody unfortunate, but I can't make that an excuse for an entire season without scoring.
His record for us is Played 29 Goals 1.
For Palace it was played 19 Goals 0.
I'm happy to get behind our players, Peter, but get real pal.
Fred's a great trier and a nice lad, but would you put him in the starting line-up or even on the bench?
Didn't think so.
Lofty, might I add that in the bulk of his aforementioned appearances he was played wide right – he'd never played in this position for the under 18s nor the reserves. I think it's unfair to judge a young player playing out of position in the two best leagues in the country.
He's just bagged 4 goals tonight playing up top and laid on a goal for Cole against Borussia Monchengladbach (had to Google the spelling!) who are a decent side.. I think given the chance and played in the right position he could develop into a great player.
Should Hines not return to full fitness by the start of the season, and if we fail to bring in another striker, then I probably would put him on the bench.
Jack.
Excellent spelling and reasoned defence of master Fred.
I have to stick with my argument, but would love to see Fred play a season at the O's where I reckon he could bang in 20 and really get his act together.
But until then, I guess we all wish him the best of…
If Freddies going to step up, now's the time
New Season. New Era. New Heroes. After all… Can't see it happening though
4 goals in a pre season reserve game against a lower league side is nothing to go on – can't hurt the boys confidence though.
sears 4 he is on fire tonight
This place has turned into a bloody playground! I haven't been posting here for that very reason but come on, why are you doing it to yourselves?
Celtic is allowed his views and he is allowed share them, I don't always (in fact hardly ever) agre with them but that's what a debate is isn't it? Having said that the fact that people are posting the same crap over and over and over is chasing away valued and long time members.
This place is a ghost of an image of what it once was.
Yeah yeah Iain, I know! If I don't like it I know what I can do! Well you don't have to bother saying it! I'm also outa here.
I hope you all are very happy being West Ham supporters and I wish you all the very best.
Peace
It's like Dragons Den on here tonight.
We bid 12 million for Neymar,Van Nistelrooy 100 grand a week,David Beckham does not fancy the Green Man Roundabout,5 mill for Dorrans all this big time charlie stuff and we Really sign freebies or cheapies.Gold 'I really want Zola to stay'Karren Brady sacks him next week.Top 8 Karren Brady,Olympic West Ham Karren Brady can there truly have been a more motley crew in charge,Adams Family springs to mind.Porky Pig Sullivan 'wont sell Parker'you will mate cos you love dosh.West Ham supporters happy are we,well I think by the time Sullivans kids are 100 years old our position will be no different to the current set up,push the boat out you old pair of tightwads and while your at it buy Karren Brady a touch of class!
Oh no…son of Celtic.
It would be cheaper to buy Ronaldo, Messi and Kaka than to buy Brady some class and just about as likely!
How much do you want that they don't sell Parker?
Devo, we have always been famous for our skillfull players, like Brooking, Devonshire or Dicanio, but we have also had some fantastic hardmen down the years. The likes of Billy Bonds, Julian Dicks, Alvin Martin, players who spirit and will to fight for the club elevated them almost above those more talented than they were themselves.
Parker is one of these, he plays the way every single fan would if they were able to. He gives his absolute all in every game and can inspire players around him because they no there is nothing he would expect from them that he wouldnt do himself first.
We must resist any offer for him because we simply can not replace him. How many players are there like Scott Parker in the league. Yes there are so called hardmen, there are box to box midfielders, there are players who look to drive a team from midfield but there are none like Scott Parker who can combine all of this and marry it to a level of pride and passion that is almost extinct in the modern game.
He must say and he must be made captain
You are being mugged right off by the continual lies put out there, but how much do I want ,I tell you after many years of swallowing shite off of our owners it would be nice to get the truth, but porn, solicitor and truth dont fit into a clean glove!
We could get a few quid off Neymar after this!

why all of a sudden have the "main" posters picked up their bags and left? if it's over the whole celtic thing then im sorry, but that's a bit pathetic. when a certain "dyingblog" poster came on the other day ranting that this blog was on the way down, i just thought he was another idiot looking for a pointless argument. but after tonight maybe he's right! headmaster, mattryan and roshi! why?
Don't worry about it mate, This blogs still a decent place to voice opinion
Once the new season starts it will all kick off again no worries
hopefully mate
They are like Scott Parker, their heads have been turned.
Why are you so aloof?
theres something enjoyable about seeing Tottenham get thumped…even in a friendly.
good luck in the champions league qualifiers….looks like you need it!
Spuds got battered 4-1 at home tonight and Jermaine Jenas limped off, they will up the ante now on Parker!
You know boys I find this "infighting" really sad and pathetic. This is the first blog I look for because the range of opinion lends credence to what is more often than not going on at West Ham and the one thing that really doesn't interest me at all is toys being thrown out of the pram, so sodding well grow up and remember why we are here, because we love West Ham. COYI
well said
Before I heard about the Spurts result I had an even 50 that we would finish within 9 places of them this season.
COYIrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooons
Good man!
i would like to read your deleted post celtic, iron.lions@yahoo.co.uk
i may not share your point of veiw but i do respect the fact that everyone has a right to 1,
exactly!
I am sick and tired of the juvenile back stabbing evident in this thread so I am closing it. If I can work out how to do it. You have a headmaster flouncing out for no apparent reason, Matt Ryan flouncing for the umpteenth time and others just behaving like schoolchildren.
Stop it.
Now.
