Let’s Avoid Jerking Our Knees

I’ve been appalled at the vitriol thrown at Zola in some of comments reacting to yesterday’s loss. Get a grip. We had about half a dozen chances to equalise. If Mido’s shot hadn’t hit the post and had gone in, would people have reacted in the same way? Yes, we should have looked to have got at least a point yesterday – no question about it. But to react as if we are already dead and buried is just puerile. We are not. Cole is playing his way back from injury and we have three new strikes, one of whom scored yesterday. I am not looking at our position through rose tinted spectacles, but people shouldn’t have such ridiculous knee jerk reactions.

We should show our support for Zola and shy away from any suggestion that the new owners should lose patience with him after just three games. That would be ridiculous. There is no saviour over the water? I’d say to some people that they should be careful who they wish for.

OK, maybe too early to knee jerk on replacing Zola however if WHU does not improve soon what are the options, surely too late to save the season if left much longer. How about this then; if the Dave's are prepared to spend 100k/week on a striker to get out of the crap, what about spending it on an experienced senior manager to sit alongside Zola for the rest of the season.

No…if you are going to undermine Zola and Clarke like that you might as well sack them. It would to tantamount to telling them: 'You are not up to the job.'
Now is the time for full support from management and fans.
\\if everything goes tits up then you review and change things at the season's end.

The fact is that Zola is tactically unaware and that is why he should go. He doesn’t have the experience to handle a relegation scrap and it’s time he should go. He’s a nice guy but his tactics are simply wait until we’re 2-0 down and then throw another striker on to try and chase the game. Bring in Sparky.

My god – Double D's have got to SHUT UP. This constant moaning about players in the press simply must stop. They are demoralising everyone at the club – it's like a train crash happening in slow motion.

DAVID'S – GET OUT OF THE LIME LIGHT AND DO YOUR JOB

West ham is too proud a club too put up with whats going on at present, if you think Pompey are a joke, just ask around what people think of the team attitude and pathetic displays of the West Ham players and training staff. The 2 Daves have a job to do and its there dosh that they are spending, good luck to them and lets all get behind them to rid our proud club of all the hangers-on and overpaid slackers.
