David Sullivan on Soccer Saturday says he is pleased with todays point. Wrong time to play Blackburn. Both CC & Parker not yet fit. Parker did not want to play due to fitness, but was on bench for tactical purposes.
In a couple of weeks we will see a different team.
Benni in 99.9% on Monday plus a possible Brazilian striker.

Fishy, Wolves game is off Tuesday, they are in an FA Cup replay with Palace… which I think is good news for us, we should all players back and playing well by the time the game comes round…

Adriano!! I've said the whole time he was our 100k a week target and I still firmly believe it. D&S have been around too long and have too many friends in the media to just blurt out all our targets and not have a trick up their sleeve. I have to be honest I only listened to the game on the radio, so I can’t rate the players. However, it did sound to me as if it was quite a balanced game and that Blackburn were knocking us off the ball and stopping us from playing a passing game. Diamanti could have won the game and the commentators said we should have had a pen so don’t be too disheartened chaps…and at least it’s another clean sheet!
I do think however, that Zola and Clarke are fast running out of time. I feel that as with any business, when there are wholescale changes of ownership, the new board will inevitably want to bring in their own man. Zola and Clarke are a risk of relegation as the results aren’t good enough – simple as that. 15 games to go…COYI

Were on the up, few months ago we would have rolled over and lost that game, even with our best team out. Things are going to get better now we are stable, but it is going to take time. We have a good little squad considering we haven't spent any money, a good hardworking team with added quality in the future can improve and climb table.
Zola and Clarke now have the backing of the board so the players need not worry about what's happening in the background. What we need to do as supporters is get behind the whole whufc team, board, management and players, not sit behind a pc and slag off our club.

Thanks Fishy, been chcking this website out daily for few years now but never really commented but will as want to express opinions to aid team morale!
It was a truly dreadful game and at the end I was happy with a draw, Green made a couple of great stops. To draw some positives I thought Faubert had a very strong game and both Green and Upson were very good. Tomkins got beaten up by both Kalinic and Roberts and really struggles against physical centre forwards, perhaps da costa would have been a better option. I didn't think we were particularly negative we just did not play well. The midfield looked unbalanced. Collison and Behrami make it narrow and nobody goes beyond the forward (s). The result is that to pick your way through requires real precision and we didn't have it today. I think Jack could do with a break as he is trying his hardest but is not giving he team much at the moment. Diamanti inspires and frustrates in equal measure. Some really great delivery and a terrific free kick but some stupid free kicks to give away. Nouble should have gone down in the box as well in the second half.
Not great (I was really expecting three points) but I don't think we will go down.
Think the player that we should go for is Jermaine Pennant. We need a player with speed and crossing ability. He would be available on the cheap/loan as he has not settled in spain. he has to have some quality if both li'pool and Arsehole have signed him. We have too many players in the same mold, pace, pace and more pace!!!

I still think Zola will come good did'nt see the game so can't comment on the performance,he does get the tactics wrong from time to time but on the whole i think under the circumstances he has had to operate under he's done ok.Blackburn are no push overs and their form lately has been good.One encouraging thing is we do seem to be becoming a difficult team to beat again the defence seems solid again i think we've only conceeded 3 in 4 so there's a positive and were now a point clear of the drop not just goal diff so there''s another, deff another striker in on Monday there's another and a mysterious Brazilian?So in a nut shell my glass is half full not half empty,stop all your winging and get behind the team!
I have been up all night and still have not seen a signing or a goal!The luxury we dont have is time to get our players fit[Gudjonsen did not make Spurs bench]they play matches to gain fitness due to the small size of the squad plus the fight is not in a lot of these players so they have to grind out 0-0,s at least other results went our way it seems.

Brazilian signing hmmm, my initial instic was either Adriano or Alfonzo Alvez, whatever bussiness they do they need to do it quickly.
Adriano will without a doubt be a class signing and will be a major coup for the club and on a 4 month loan deal it would be fantastic, Alvez does have the talent and was maybe overated before borough baught him but i think that he could well be a very good signing. Deadline day will be very interesting.

I don't think you will say sod the brazilians if we sign Adriano lol, he is on red hot form and when he is on form he is unplayable as he is class and for a 4 month loan it would be a great coup, Pennant i agree is a good player but i don't think that West Ham will be after him.

David Gold has confirmed in SSN that Benni has joined us, he said 'we have got Benni and it has been a long fight to get him'. I already knew that Benni had joined through my friend but just wanted to reasure you other hammers, he also said that we are looking at bringing in one more striker as they feel Nouble has got far too much pressure on him which i must say i totally agree with, and with Sullivans intervies with Kammy it looks like we want a Brazilian, i think a fair few names are going to be specualted over the next couple of days but i think that G&S will have to act quickly because if they cannot get this player in they must then look at a late loan move for someone like robbie Keane.
Sullivan wants a Brazilian.

Looking at the league table it turned out ok today. Shame we didnt get a win, and I don't change my mind a bout the 451, but needs must. Great to hear benni signing. I think he woudl be really useful up with Cole, and we can at least put Nouble on the bench. Poor lad – not many other clubs would put that much pressure on a kid- then again, sometimes it works out well.
He's a real talent but with the weight off his shoulders he might progress faster.
Bring the kid on from the bench every so often to throw his weight around.

Yes Andyhammer it is true, Sullivan was talking to Kammy on soccer saturday live after the game and he said that Benni is 99.9% done but believe me he is a hammer, and the nhe went on to say that we are also in for a brazilian striker who they are hoping to secure on monday. Then Gold has said that we are after another striker to take pressure of Nouble and then once they have got that other striker they will close their transfer bussiness and we will then go from there. So Benni and a brazilian striker, would be great for the club and for Cole who needs more help and good for franco aswel as he can rest more often aswel. Will be good competition up top then. I liked your first little paragraph lol, i am sure they both have seen a fair few brazilians in their time lol.

Anytime mate, it is really fustrating for me at the minute as my friend is a football agent and is very close to deals going on at west ham but i cannot get through to him at the minute lol, i am trying to see if i can get information about this brazillian striker before SSN recieve it so i can give the information to all of you, I spoke to him yesterday just about as he was on the phone talking to someone about Danny Shittu who he told me is leaving Bolton but not joining us, but anyway he then confirmed to me that Benni was going to be a hammer and also told me that Eidur was very close to signing for us and felt his actions were disgraceful, His mate is also an agent and close to west ham and i believe that my mate is trying to get further info of him to give to me, but like i say it is a very busy time so i am struggling to get through to him but as i say if i hear anything, you will all be first to know. As it stands what i know is what you all know (except the danny shittu part lol)

I have just got back from the game. It seems like absolutely ages since the Arsenal game and we were really looking forward to it. Sadly it was not a football match -if the criteria is that the ball spends more time on the ground than in the air.
It was dull dull dull but at least we didn't concede a goal and the results of teams around us went in our favour.
Blackburn make no attempt to play a passing game and make it difficult for teams like us. Their physical presence is greater than ours and they frustrated us throughout the game. We played well in little spurts but by and large not good.
I agree with comment that we would have conceded a couple of months ago. We didn't and I believe we will get so much better over the next month.
Chris I do go week in and week out but I swear if football upset me as much as it does you I would give it up for the sake of my health. We didn;t win which is very annoying but heh – we didn;t lose either!

I could be wrong but I believe Jo has gone to galatasary on loan so must be another brazilian! As far as the game today goes it was a little dissapointing but its still a point after all and as long as we’re still getting points that’s all that matters at the end of the day. Points mean prizes! And let’s hope the prize is staying in the premier league. I think that Specs contribution to the games recently should be recognised, I watch everygame and I think he has done a stirling job at left back with illunga out. People don’t rate him for some reason but I think he’s come on a lot lately and with a few more games under his belt could become a first choice rightback in my opinion getting rid of faubert. Faubert did have a better game today but has been largely ineffective ever since we bought him. Given a good run in the team Specs could be a great rightback since its his proper position and with illunga back our defence is looking slowly more solid. Slowly is the key word here just like the progress under GandS but these things take time and I’m behind them, the team and the manager. Bring on the burnley game – COYI!
