As someone who had a rather large bet pre-season at 6.8-1 on Pompey to be relegated, may i just say WOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

  2. FishySuffolk says:

With Franco suspended for Sundays FA clash iwth Arsenal (Thats all we needed)
Its Back to the Future with our young guns sitting in the wings & Nouble looks likely to start with possibly Dixon being on the bench although Sears could line up as well. The full team will have to wait till Sunday to find out who GZ will ring the changes with. This is another big game & on past 3rd round ties does not weigh in our favour let alone against Arsenal. However on our last game with the gunners we came back from 2down so anything is possible.

l think Nouble will be much better then Franco on Sunday,l don't think Franco's been that fit in the last few games.Nouble looks very fit and raring to go,l really think he is going to do well for us.

    1. 10th-14th
    2. Hopefully
    3. Definitely, because he doesn't want to stay sadly
    4. Both should be in. CC in front of Heskey and SP in place of Barry, fitness dependent
    5. Might as well. About a 25% success rate
    6. Would prefer to stay put and improve what we have, especially East stand & transportation
    7. Not likely. We'd never pay him what he demands these days! Past it now anyway, but a good leader. Step up SP!
    8. On current form, he could go today for all I care! There must be better about. Doesn't inspire any confidence & not worthy of England currently. What is he after?
    9. Would be nice if a little late.
    10. Let's hope so. Dependent on 1-9

Nothing to lose on Sunday. We don't need a reply though. Would love to see what Nouble & Dixon could do for the first team. I do hope the Intermarket bid comes to fruition. Could be perfect timing! COYI

    1. No – but hopefully will finish out of the bottom 3.__2 .Doubtful – Details of who is behind the bid are not transparent. I suspect Gold/Sullivan are a more likely and ultimately better option. __3. I hope not, but fear yes.__4. Judging by the number of goals Carlton Cole will need to score to complete your prediction 1,) I would say no. Parker – yes on current form. Have Upson and Green been excluded because of 3. and 8.?__5. May depend on 2.__6. Unlikely.__7.No.__8. Yes__9. We could do with him now!__10. Good luck and Happy New Year!__

  6. Braderz says:

Harry Redknapp has said he is not going after upson infact he is not planning on signing anyone, this is good news for us as that rules one team out that will be after him, so does that leave Villa and Man City although city have dunne and collins who they signed in january so surely they won't want another centre back and Man City have loads of defenders and their after that inter milan defender so who does that leave, we may keep him and how good would that be, i hope we can. We shall see very soon. Happy New Year Everyone.

  7. Fotstomper says:

Looking at Pompey I dont want us to be sod to anyone until we know who they are. Scary!
