What the hell was Green playin at there

  2. celtichammer says:

IF we are to get anything from this we need to take kovac off and bring Nouble on to give us a more attacking shape

  3. andyhammer says:

come on lads. Let's push on now. Get Nouble on, take off jimenez and let's go for it

  4. LoftyPerch says:

Do you get any points for winning a corner?

  5. andyhammer says:

I actually think(and it's not often I defend kovac) that he played well the last game and has again today. He is getting in amongst it and has really put a shift in. I think Jimenez has been completely non-existent since coming on

  6. watching kovac is too painfull

  7. andyhammer says:

This has always been our criticism of Zola. That he doesn't change things when the situation dictates. Why not gamble now?

  8. celtichammer says:

Its time to be bold Zola, 1 nil or 2 nil makes little difference but 1 all is a massive reward, get Nouble on now to give us a chance!

  9. andyhammer says:

Guys. I never wanted Kovac to play for west ham again a few games ago, but give credit when it is due. He has broken up more attacks than any other west ham player today. Our best players has been tomkins by a mile but I think kovac has done well. Jimenez seems happy to just be on the field and not affect anything

  10. Well at 1-0 we had to push up and try for the goal I suppose

  11. andyhammer says:

ANTAGONISTIC PROVOCATIVE LITTLE SH*T. Nothing like biting the hand that feeds you eh defoe?

That's it, score a goal, run to the crowd, and bury your head in the fans and take off your shirt. Could this man have any less class?
I wil really enjoy watching spurs miss out on the top 4 spot this year

  12. celtichammer says:

Can someone tell me where Rob Green is? I refuse to believe that guy in goal is actually Robert Green.

  13. andyhammer says:

Guys. Let's face it, we didn't expect anything from this game did we?
If we win against wolves, that would be 6 points from 3 games, and against our relegation candidates. If we win against wolves at home, we will be well set and in a good position.

    always look to the positives

  14. celtichammer says:

My heart goes out to Franco, the guy is absolutely dead on his feet and he is still trying his heart out!

    • Jolly says:

CH – but what has he ACTUALLY done in the game – i can run for 90 mins it doenst make me a quality footballer. I like Franco and to be fair he's had NO support today but i also think he's had a poor game.

      • celtichammer says:

I think he was massively dispirited today, he knew once Parker went off he was very unlikely to get any real support but he still kept going for that I respect the guy. That said Zola will be forced to give Nouble or Dixon a go now which is no bad thing

  15. DevoDevo says:

Good attitide 2nd half and just starting to look like a possible equaliser when they broke on us.

Curiously, Faubert, Tomkins & Upson all had good games, as did Kovac. Jiminez complete waste of space & Behrami looked out of sorts.

Franco banned from next game – that should be fun!!

  16. agreed, much as I hate to say it the Spuds are too good a team for us at the moment, we never really had much chance of getting anything from this match

  17. celtichammer says:

If they gave points for fans we would be 10points clear at the top right now!

  18. LoftyPerch says:

Of all the places in all the world to produce a powder-puff performance, it had to been that filthy, north London khazi.
That, coupled with the mind numbingly painful Sky commentary, has made it one crap day. Alan Smith is now officially the world's worse pundit. Tosser.

  19. _E1 says:

we made a poor spurs performance look good 1-0 would have been a fair result

  20. _E1 says:

TOMKINS MY MAN OF THE MATCH

  21. didn`t ever expect anything really, tompkins was top class today, well done son. We have played 3 more games than bolton now so the game agains wolves is huge. COYI

  22. andyhammer says:

Alan Smith was talking about it being a terrible time to play Arsenal in the FA cup. I don't agree with that.
We have Noble and Parker out with hamstring injuries as is Dyer. They need time to recuperate. I would be happy to see west ham put out a young side and rest our players for the premiership.
I would like to see a team of the following against arsenal

    Green
    N'Gala
    Upson
    Tomkins
    Daprela

    Collison
    Payne
    Jimenez
    Stanislas

    Nouble
    Dixon

Yes we will lose but we will lose with that team we had out today too. We might well pick up more injuries also, which would seriously affect our chances of survival

We can not afford to exhaust our already tiny squad which is riddled with injuries.
