Player Performance Results: Arsenal

arsenahl

I have to say I am astonished Jack Collison was so low. After Cole, I’d have said he and Behrami were the two best players, although I have no complaints about Diamanto and Hines being so high, seeing as their introduction changed the game.

Cole, at 8.53, got one of the highest ever ratings.

That link is not the best but the only one I can find atm

  2. Handon says:

During match I said that I will buy a shirt with Cole printing if Super-CC scores. And he did.

I just ordered my shirt. I feel confused. A year ago I couldn't even think about wearing shirt #12. But Carlton has been amazing and the performance he put in against Arsenal made me a fan of his.

Keep on Carlton, Hammer of The Year and WC-Finals are waiting for you

I sm a season ticket holder and not suggesting jack collison in front of upson or Parker ad club captain but on Sunday he was geeing up all the boys as we took ko after arsenal got there second goal. He also was getting them fired up in centre circle waiting for second half to start. In my eyes a real fighter who loves his team. A captain for sure in a couple a seasons in my opinion.

  4. mustaqim says:

oh cm ‘on, 1 way or another, west ham are better than villa, everton and sunderland, and we will beat them, DNT THINK NEGATIVE, whats the benefit of that?

  5. mustaqim says:

and no, im nt having a laugh! lol

    • MattRyan says:

It's nothing to do with thinking negative! It's being realistic! You have them down as a definite 9 points for us and it's nowhere near definite!

And what does "one way or another we are better than Villa" mean? There is only one way we need to be better than them and that's at football! lol

  6. mustaqim says:

CM’ON! MATT, LUK @ THE WAY WE PLAYED AGAINST ARSENAL, WE PLAY LIKE THAT, WE WILL WIN, POINTS UP 4 GRABS, AND WE ARE BETA THEN VILLA @ FOOTY!!!

  7. mustaqim says:

    END OF STORY

  8. Jolly says:

Is that Mr Dixon with the ginger hair?

  9. SoCalHammer says:

Matt is right. You have to be realistic. Arsenal went into the match underestimating us. Sunderland and Villa wont make that mistake. If confidence levels are up, and I hope they are now, we have a chance sure. I really think it depends on what happens at Sunderland if indeed we have turned that corner. But to just flat out say were are better than any one team is subjective at the moment.

  10. MattRyan says:

Oh end of story is it? Oh ok then, can't argue with that logic! Blimey!

  11. Jolly says:

Frank Nouble plays like a young Emile Heskey – Unable to trap a bag of cement!

  12. MattRyan says:

This Polish lot are not a bad side!

  13. MattRyan says:

1-2! What a palava that was! lol

  14. SoCalHammer says:

Yes, what was that? Every player in front of the net and it still goes in. lol Let's just chalk that little bit of play to youthful exuberance. LOL

  15. MattRyan says:

Ended 2 all! Another great West Ham game where we give awaythe lead in the final few mins! :)

    Oh well!

  16. mustaqim says:

hey Matt, I wasnt having a go mate, lol, na Im just trying to stay positive, but if you say so mate then I guess your right, lol, sorry mate…

  17. DevoDevo says:

More good news! Dixon scores in stiffs. Maybe our luck is starting to turn?

  18. mustaqim says:

glad! but seriously I wasnt having a go, just trying 2 justify my point, lol, u were right though m8, about the villa, Everton thing, nt garunteed a win, neway whos playin the reserves?

    • MattRyan says:

Hey, it's all good! Don't sweat it mate! :)

The reserves were playimg a polish side called Arka Gdynia and we drew 2 all :)

Dixon and Daprella scored a goal each :)

      Matt

  19. mustaqim says:

ye matt, thanks 4 dat, whos this Daprela guy, heard his gd, lol

    • FISHY says:

Mustaqim, DAprels is a young defender we signed last window from Grasshoppers
Switzerland only 17yrs but we have great things for him if this continues.

  20. chrischris says:

Lucas neill's really got a grips with that Everton defence since going there, that's 5 conceded in 2 games, nice!!!

  21. broganq says:

Sunderland lose in penalties. A long and demoralising game for them. Can we make the most of it on the weekend? Let's hope so!

  22. chrischris says:

Let's hope Dixon stay's, fit coz believe me he is another Rooney in the making.

  23. Bubbleblower says:

I was one of those who questioned Diamanti – not his undoubted ability, but his perceived position as seen by many on here. Good to see that some of you have now realised that he isn’t a natural wide midfielder.
He’s still on a steep learning curve, he will never have any sell on value, I’m still not convinced that he was the best use of the funds available at the time, but he’s a breath of fresh air and exactly what we need at present – someone to excite us and give us hope. Enjoy him while he becomes a cult hero.

    • chrischris says:

How do you know that,he has not played there yet.

    • MattRyan says:

It's not always about "sell on value" sometimes a manager has to buy what he thinks is good for the club at that particular moment :)

And as far as not worth the money we paid for him at the time, no offense mate but you (or I or anyone on here) has any idea how much West Ham paid for him. All we know is what we have all read in the press! And that has varied from £500,000 to £6Million! lol

I'm sure Zola, Clarke and Nani wouldn't have paid stupid money for an unproven player. The same was said about Savio, he WAS a flop but again, all we have are press reports! For all we know he coculd have cost us a pair of boots and a pickled egg! lol

  24. Aussie Graham says:

Love Bellamy whinging about elements of the crowds giving him some stick, gee its hard to keep taking home 100 plus grand a week, those in glass houses !

    • MattRyan says:

Although I agree, Bellend is a ummmm…….BELL END! I don't think it's right for anyone (including £100, 000 a week football players) to endure derogative remarks about their family members!

So on that point I think he is spot on to complain about it :)

  25. DevoDevo says:

Perhaps the "We miss Lucas" brigade might quieten down now!

We need to put some pace on the left when they come to us.

  26. Kim says:

My money is on Lucas to concede a penalty to us when we play them. After all he conceded enough to other teams when he played for us!

    • FISHY says:

Kim , I agree with Everton losing again last night this must be good for us on Sat wk. But first lets get past Sunderland.Lol! 1-2

  27. MattRyan says:

Sunderland are now reported to have a list of injuries ahead of our game on Sat :)

It could all be a red herring of course but after reading the report from last nights game against Villa, it looks like it might be true :)

Darren Bent: might not be back as expected! Knee! :)

Linda McCartney: Received a knock on his hip last night and looks like might be out for 2 weeks :)

    Bolo Zenden: Hamstring :)

    Frasier Campbell: Muscle problem! :)

John Mensah: Ongoing calf problem! :)

    Nice :)

  28. Tony Carr testimonial has been announced! West Ham United vs All Star Acadamy XI, I wonder who will be in the line up? Any ideas people?

  29. Jolly says:

Tony Carr has said in an interview yesterday that he has already had verbal confirmation from Rio, joe Cole, John Terry, Frank Lampard and Paul ince – barring cup commitments (Rio Joe, John and Frank, not Paul obviously!).

I for one will be there and will NOT participate in ANY booing of returning old boys – this will be Tony's night and not one to be ruined by moronic hassling of forgotton Judas's.

    • Kim says:

I certainly wouldn't boo any of them. I think Incey might have to get in training now though – he looks like he is the reason for the disappearance of the pie and mash stand from the Doc Martin Upper – hee hee!

    • Jolly says:

Saying that – I may have to hire an empty room for usage after the game. The thought of watching fat Frank or Ince for any period of time without shouting abuse is going to require therapy afterwards. Me, an empty room save for a dummy and a baseball bat and a lot of screaming and shouting might just do the job.

  30. mustaqim says:

oh ok , thanks fishy, luks like a gd player, lol, after the sunderland and villa game, sunderland are gonna be tired, so west ham are likely to beat them, am I right, what do u think guys?

  31. DevoDevo says:

Excellent piece on Carlton Cole here and no, I didn't write it!

    http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opinion/blogs/fan…

chrischris – can you remember questioning me when I said Cole had pace? ;)

    • chrischris says:

Devo I can't,but If I did I'll eat pie,the guy has got pace,I've never doubted him as a player thou,I must admit the fella's improved a hell of a lot ,he really is a handful,If we could find him a quality partner a top 8 finish is possible if Zola stays positive with he's formations,I really do feel the Arsenal game was the turning point.COYI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  32. mustaqim says:

well why not, heard sunderland got a long list of injury, gonna be tired, lol, surely we should beat them, but then again, matts right, nt garunteed a win,lol

  33. mustaqim says:

oh ok, lol, calm down odd job, lol, m8 I was only really happy the way he played, but if u say so, then i guess ur right.

  34. chrischris says:

Why we bothering about what Sunderland have got and what their gunna do?
Let them worry about us,positive formation 4 4 2 one in hole what ever!!! all guns blazing!!! we are WEST HAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
