Agree with carlton cole i thought he was the best player although we wernt that good.

  2. snowman says:

i know its a game of opinion, but how faubert is so high and how jiminez is so low is beyond me!

  3. DevoDevo says:

Agreed, snowman. Faubert has improved defensively, but most of his passes find the opposition! Paradoxically, Jiminez kept possession better than the rest of the team.

Surprised that Noble & Kovac were marked so high.

Cole was definitely MoM (for us) and is starting to become the least dispensible player in the team. Unless Franco is the new messiah, can you imagine us without Cole?

  4. IronRik says:

    I agree Devo
Cole, along with Green I see as our two most important and irreplaceable players. Which is testament to both the players in the positive and our transfers in the negative. If Cole got a serious injury I would be very, very worried.

I don't see how long Zola can keep seeing Noble as an automatic choice. He as been well below par for far too long and deserves to be dropped, which give me no pleasure in stating I must add.

Finally well done to Hines, who has been called up to the england U21 team (although I thought he was Jamacian) . A bright light in a frustration season thus far.

    • DevoDevo says:

Pearce has drafted Hines in to prevent him playing for Jamaica!

By all accounts, Capello was furious when he found out Collison had been nicked by the Welsh.

      • D_McCailey says:

Hines looks an exciting prospect – I've been very impressed so far. Would you add Upson to that list IronRik? Personally I would, as our last couple of games is testament.

  5. Laurie says:

Slow down boys. One ordinary performance doesnt suddenly make us a team in trouble. Behrami, who was awesome last term, is back and playing. Whether Franco is the new messiah or not, and I suspect not, he is definitely a good old head to have around, with Hines and Nouble in particular destined to benefit… can you imagine Cole putting an arm round either of them and having a supportive whisper in their ear? Iliunga is still in my top 3 left backs in the division and Jimenez looks a real talent. Diamante on the evidence so far will only improve with fitness and as he gets to the speed of our game… but even as he builds up to that point his delivery from free kicks has been magnificent… 30 yard balls with pace dipping invariably onto the head of Cole. If Franco is strong in the air then we could have a superb key into matches… and if he isnt then lets land Toni, Jan 1st!!!
I remain upbeat for the season ahead. Putting my faith in Zola and Clarke ably supported by a mostly young mostly talented squad. Lets batter Fulham and shut them all up.

    • FISHY says:

Franco is not yet match fit like Da costa so will not feature until these guys up the anti in fitness we will continue to be short of class within the team

    • FISHY says:

GZ is now getting tough and prepared to scrap 433in favour of 442 but we will have a completely different team as we had against L'pool to win against Fulham Sunday 2-0

    • D_McCailey says:

Totally agree Laurie. We've had a very tough start fixture-wise. First team players to come back (Upson, Behrami, Collison, Dyer) and other players still not fully fit (Diamante, Franco, Da Costa) with youngsters who can only get better with experience (Hines, Stanislas, Tomkins, Nouble).

I don't think we'll set the division on fire, but we'll have enough to finish safely.

  6. digger says:

totally off the subject here apologies people but the rumours in the City today is that Redknapp will be gone by the weekend….lets all pray old wonky eye bites the bullet, would make up for that lot doing so well and us lot doing so bad

    • eric lee nyc says:

Why would he leave and why would the club want him to?

    • celtichammer says:

Digger I got that call from a mate of mine late last night told me he had just heard a rumour from someone who had stuck 5grand on redknapp to get the sack. My m8 makes a living in financial spread betting and the guy who tipped him isnt a footie fan or anything but he has a knack of being right about these kind of tips. My mate was looking for a couple of people to take part of a 1000euro bet he was putting on and knew that given my dislike of Harry I was probably good for a few hundred (turned out he was right). Harry was 50 to 1 yesterday and we got it at 35 to 1. To be honest I couldnt care less about the cash I just want to see old Bagpuss get a nice bit of bird for himself!
Luckily his missus used to work in the canteen at WestHam so she should have no bother baking him a cake with a file in it! Of course knowing Harry he would probably end up trying to saw through the bars with the cake and break his tooth on the file!

  7. eric lee nyc says:

Valon and Upson possibly back in the lineup for Sunday?
    http://www.westhamdailynews.com/news/2555-injury-…

  8. digger says:

The rumour is he's going to be sacked for irregular money movements, he's odds have gone from 50/1 to 7/4 to be sacked.

  9. digger says:

basically money laundering…if its true and i doubt it it will make me very very happy indeed

    • FISHY says:

This goes back to when HR was a Portsmouth and was investigated by police at his home after which case was dropped
Unless there is more than meets the eye

  10. IronRik says:

That would be brilliant if true. i think it common knowledge that 'arry is a bit dodgy, I'm suprised he has got away with it for so long.. And it would give me some well needed amunition against all the spuds at work :-)

  11. ClaretBobby says:

    From a spuds blog

"Word is that Harry is under caution from the old bill and he is to be arrested for money laundering in transfer of Amdy Faye to pompey the police have new evidence to take him to the cleaners (excuse the punt) harry will be sacked tonight if not first thing in the morning…"

  12. ClaretBobby says:

Rejoice when it is official but until then I recommend a large pinch of salt!!

  13. digger says:

agreed!! its nice tho to think it could be tho.

  14. celtichammer says:

Just a quick word on a former manager it seems the club have refused to enter into arbitration with Curbishley on his constructive dismissal claim and instead told him the intend to settle the matter through the courts. Newcastle have just been stung for £2M by an arbitration panel that reviewed Keegans (now there is an overated manager if ever there was one) claim of constructive dismissal.
Granted Keegan had a much stronger case as he had statements from the Club, Denis Wise, Mike Ashley and the Official webstie saying that Wise being appointed would have no impact on Keegan managing the team or on his transfer dealings.
Curbishley has no such evidence and in fact gave several interviews in which he claimed that he not only whole heartedly agreed with the hiring of Nani but was heavily involved in the selection process. Curbs also had a track record of blowing £50M of the chairmans cash (not to mention signing bonus and salaries) on a collection of crocked signings who failed to make an impact in his time as manager.
I have always advised clients who were facing legal action to make it very clear from the outset to the other party that they intended to fight the action tooth and nail through the courts and to avail of ever single legal loophole and avenue that was open to them and how they were more than happy to watch the action be dragged slowly through the courts for years to come. Pointing out that any legal costs encurred by the firm will merely be writtne off against tax. You would be surprised how many suspect actions are dropped in the face of a response like this.
I guess we learned our lesson the hard way that entering arbitration and expecting the correct decision just because the law and all the evidence is on your side can prove very costly indeed. I guess it doesnt help when the decision is placed in the hands of a senile octoginarian cricket fan who's ruling could probably be swayed with a biography of WG Grace, a packet of Worthers Originals and a box set of Matlock DVDs.
Personally I dont think curbs deserves a penny and feel I have more of a right to sue him for the £10K I spent travelling to matches during his one full season in charge and having to watch that turgid rubbish that he called football

  15. celtichammer says:

Hey I just used the edit function on the comment system for the first time and it worked a treat!
Right am now off to go back through my old posts and alter and match predicitons that I got wrong! Shame you cant do this at the bookies!

  16. celtichammer says:

Hey I just used the edit function on the comment system for the first time and it worked a treat!
Right am now off to go back through my old posts and alter any match predicitons that I got wrong! Shame you cant do this at the bookies!

    • Wavid says:

Celtic – you have too much time on your hands lol

      • celtichammer says:

Wavid you are not wrong mate! The sooner this current contract is over the better, I am past giving a toss about the cash and just want to be able to take a break for the next couple of months, probably till january. I dont know how many people on here are familiar with NAMA (National Asset Management Agency) but is has taken over my life for the last 6months and I wish I had never accepted the contract!

  17. FISHY says:

Harry getting sacked at Spurs and returning to Portsmouth to sort out the mess

    ITS ALL TOSH!!!!
    Lol!

    • celtichammer says:

Fishy its not about him returning to Pompey to sort out the football club its reportedly down to him coming under very close scrutiny for irregular financial activities while manager there.
I suppose it would go someway to explaining some of his transfer signings!

  18. Wavid says:

I think the problem we have is two fold at the moment. On the one hand we have key players injuryed, not unlike any other season I guess but because we do not have any money, we do not have qulaity players to fill in. Behrami a perfect example. On the other hand, we also have players coming into the team that will need to have some time to 'bed-in' and get up to fitness/ speed with the EPL. Therefore, I am not worried unless we lose against Fulham this weekend and the gap between us and the top eight gets a little too wide too early in the season.

But, on the question of money, our transfers reflect the fact that despite Zola, we cannot pull in the quality we need up front, therefore goals are not coming too easily. Given time, Hines, Diamanti should start to score and if Cole can join in with the kind of form he hit last season we could be scoring a lot more freely.

    • FISHY says:

Wavid, Good post once fit we have a very good team both Franco & Da Costa have said they are not yet match fit so hasnot played yet (Franco) with DC on limited match play when we have needed him & when Luca Toni comes in Jan
although he too will take time to get match fit but the omens are good for us
with GZ getting tough and SC article on training this wk.
look where we were lastseason when GZ took over and also should I say Spurs when HR took over and where they ended up as we did
Its only a matter of time but 2-0 win Sunday

  19. @eleenyc says:

the boys will come good this weekend. COYI!!!

  20. Oddjob says:

I don't think it's the gap between us and the top 8 we should be concerned about. The gap between us and the top 17 should be our first concern.
Also, Fishy, I wouldn't get too positive about Toni arriving in January as we've hardly got a sparkling record of getting players we are linked to. The quality of anyone arriving in the next transfer window will depend a lot on where we are in the league. I can't imagine Toni looking forward to a relegation struggle if that's where we are.

  21. MattRyan says:

The bottom 2 are about right in my opinion :)

  22. Falvo says:

All things considered, the rating Da Costa ended up with is a bit unfair. He wasnt THAT bad and he showed glimpses of good defending.
Don't forget that he was following the example of Tomkins who only has 12 appearances and i think if he had a more experienced defender alongside him who he could learn from, he would prosper considerably. Hes only a youngster himself and Tomkins hasnt been spectacular thus far this season so hes not even on form.

If Upson is fit for the Fulham game this weekend, as newspapers are reporting, Da Costa should definitely start the game.

  23. broganq says:

So if the word is true regarding Redknapp and he is guilty beyond doubt does that mean he is not able to manage a premier team? Why would Spurs sack him? Surely it's old news and he's doing really well for them – not sure why people are assuming he'd get the sack. Unless I suppose he lied to them in some way regarding it.

    • celtichammer says:

BroganQ its about image and reputation, if their current manager is found guilty of taking illegal payments or other financial irregularites while at a previous club then it casts a shadow on his current club, Its a case of if he did it before then he probably is doing it there too!
This makes sponsors very worried as its their money that is going into the club and their name thats attached to it.
If he was found guilty of accepting money for buying players then it would be a criminal offense and he would be banned for a period from management.

      • broganq says:

If he does go then what looked like a very promising season is in tatters I'd say. A lot of players went to Spurs because of Harry. I'd say the club would be very torn to see him go, but you're probably right, in the long term the bad press probably isn't worth it. I think anything to stop illigal player trading is worthwhile. It's just so greedy when players, agents and now managers get played ridiculous wages. You really do have to worry about fixing too. A ref has so much power over the outcome of a game its unreal and doesn't seem to have to answer to anyone when they do make a few glaringly wrong decisions.

        • celtichammer says:

BroganQ Redknapp will always atrract players as he is probably the least strict manager in the league. He has no problems with the players enjoying a beer or a game of cards. There are still a lot of players who want the lifestyle that goes along with the cash of being a premiership player.

  24. celtichammer says:

I agree that DaCostas rating is unfair (hey look at me posting on topic!) as I think second half he played well and if thats how fast he is when unfit he is going to leave most strikers in his wake when he is fully match fit!

    • MattRyan says:

      Celtic's got a new favourite player! :)

      • celtichammer says:

Noy quite Matt but I cant remember seeing a centre half with that amount of pace ever and I think it can only help the team.
I also admire honesty and effort in a player and a willingness to stand up and not to look to hide during a game.
To be honest I dont know that I have an out and out favourite player in this current team and probably havnt since Zamora left. I suppose if I had to pick it would probably be Parker although Diamanti has made a big impact since he arrived.
He definately reminds me of PDC who is quite simply the greatest WestHam player of my lifetime. I know as I am over thirty there are some long standings Hammers legends who were at the end of their career since I was born and that Billy Bonds played on past my 10th birthday but nothing will ever surpass the joy of watching DiCanio play for West Ham.
When I was in Rome for the Ireland v Italy rugby game earlier this year and wore my Hammers jersey around the city. Loads of locals saw they jersey and immediately linked it with DiCanio, I had a great day talking football and Paolo with locals which kind of annoyed my rugby mates until the led us to an Irish bar which happens to be a big Lazio supporters club which was filled with stunning Italian girls!
The stadium where Italy play their rugby internationals is also the home of Cisco Roma where PDC ended his playing career so when going to the game I brought a Hammers scarf and tied it to the railings which really impressed the Police who were stationed there.

        • MattRyan says:

I like your optimism for the guy mate! But unfortunately I can't share that optimism just yet! Da Costa, shows promise, but promise, an EPL player does not make!

I hope you are right and I am wrong! Mainly because I can't see Upson with us in Feb!

Diamanti on the other hand, love the guy! He looks as mental as a bag of coat hangers and I think he will be massive for us! I'm glad we have bought him and it's not just a loan!

  25. Mick says:

Umm, once a TLeaf always TLeaf, and i hope he has been caught

With ref to the play peform, this list looks like we all have ignored the first fifteen minutes, with good reason.

  26. FISHY says:

Celtic, in reply to yours earlier have been off for a while
I know that the reports about HR are re transfer irregularities
I only put that in about Portsmouth as the media were reporting on HR returning there as they have nothing better to write about as usual
I know he wont as he wont get sacked at Spurs its all just paper talk
    LOL!!

  27. MattRyan says:

I wouldn't doubt any return to Portsmouth for Hairy Redenck, Fishy! The man has no loyalty or integrirty whatsoever! If Pompey flash him a crisp £5 note, he will leave Spuds in the poo quicker than you can say "suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting." lol

  28. chrischris says:

Zola said he will try his hardest in making the new system work, yeah well i got some advice mate, forget it! did you ever see England 4 3 3 Vs N Ireland a few years back.

  29. Jolly says:

    Evening all, just back from a 2 day jolly (no pun intended) on the golf course and have just seen the 'arry speculation – for what it's worth here's my tuppence worth;

    It's all a betting scam.

I recently read an article about gangs that place lots of big price, little bets all over the internet and shops and then leak these to tipster websites. Word spreads, panic ensues and prices collapse. Whilst all this is happening the gangs are off-laying their bets as the odds goe up and up. This has happened 3 time sin recent weeks – Rafa to leave Liverpool, Ribery to join Liverpool and now Harry to leave Spuds – on all three occassions bookies suspended betting and non actually happened. I made a killing on Ribery NOT to join Liverpool.

  30. chrischris says:

Just got in from work, and now I read Zola's Having a rethink about the system, well done mate!!!!

  31. Jealousy and hypocrisy are Hammers fans gripes about a person like Harry who went to Brown to get money to improve our side to a top level standard that he wanted us to be playing at does anyone on this site believe he was wrong or is it he is at a rival London club with a chairman who wants success. To all the knockers who berate people who want success for our club you would all and I mean all be wishing he was in charge today, you know why? he knows what he is doing wheras Zola is only an apprentice who does not have the longevity or experience yet!

    • celtichammer says:

Aussie its because he is a mercenary prick who racked up debt at this club signing what were mostly shite players who has proven beyond aby doubt that he has about as much loyalty as a 50quid hooker who thinks he can unsettle players by claiming they want to join him in an attempt to get them to force a club into accepting a transfer request meaning he can try and get them on the cheap by banging on about how much they want to leave and if thats not enough he gets his muppet ken doll of a son to act as his mouth piece on skysports.
Of the 3 clubs he has managed we are the only one he didnt leave in financial ruin and it wasnt for lack of trying on his part.
Oh and if thats not enough him celebrating like he had just found out he had won the lottery and the entire female cast of the Nuts 2010 calander were waiting oiled up and ready with the cheque in a nearby hotel room when the spuds scored against us might remind you why he is a piece of crap !

  32. Jolly says:

    Want 'arry back – no fecking way – 2 reasons;

    1. Titi Camara
    2. Rigobert Song

  33. Matt Ryan says:

Me too Celtic! the ONLY decent players he has brought in are the losers that have followed him from other clubs!

He has NO eye for talent and only takes chances on proven players!

    • celtichammer says:

Well apart from DiCanio but it didnt take a footballing genius to figure out the guy had talent! The rest were more by luck than by design, it was a case of if you buy enough players a few of them have to turn out to be half useful!

    • Oddjob says:

And, of course, apart from Di Canio – who nobody else would touch after the Alcock affair – Harry brought in Sinclair, Bilic, Hartson & Kitson (whose goals kept us up), Hislop, Pearce & Unsworth (who both did a good short term job), Schemmel etc., etc. He built the team that Roeder inherited which finished 7th and was then destroyed.
Brown was more responsible than Harry for the sale of Ferdinand and, when he was sold, our Chairman said that all the money would be available for new players when it ended up paying for the West Stand.
In terms of league performance Harry was as good as we have ever had and, just because he left, he gets a raw deal from fans now. As I've said before, loyalty does not exist in football and Harry is no better or no worse than many others. He's just better at working out ways to line his own pocket.

  34. So would the universal answer be it does not matter who manages us if they are given the budget Mark Hughes has at his disposal then we could be a successful winning team surely what is wrong with that I mean at some stage in our lives we want to win something because I have only been to 2 winnig FACUP finals so hopefully with the best intentions we all want glory. Is the overall opinion cut and dried that DiCanio,Foe,Kitson and Hartson were losers I thought Boogers would be the fans choice along with Radichiou?some were talented!

    • Jolly says:

Aussie – next time you have 5 mins to spare go through the internet and look at who 'arry purchased, how much he paid and how much THEY were paid. Yes you will find the odd Dicanio but you'll find a hell of a lot more Camara's.

Media darling 'cos he's English and old school – truth is he's a decent coach with the morals of a corner street ho and the integrity of a back street loan shark. Portsmouth are bunkrupt due to his spendthrift nature and inability to see beyond his own goals.

      • Oddjob says:

Managers don't bankrupt clubs – although they can contribute to it by bad buys. It's the board of directors / CEO who have the control on the purse strings. Brown got us in the mire and The Egg Man dug a deeper pit before the recession hit in and shafted BG. Harry and Curb's buys were authorised by their bosses and, to my mind, it wasn't the transfer fees as much as the wages and length of contracts that caused the biggest problems. That is the responsibility of the men who hold the purse strings.

    • MattRyan says:

      Hello mate!

With the budget Mark Hughs has I COULD get Citeh into the top 4! lol! I don't think it doesn't matter who manages us as decent managers with personality attract decent players (the non-mercenaries)!!

Zola is widely loved by a LOT of people and if we had the money to pay their wages and pay their siging fees I'm sure he could have attracted some very good players!

Hopefully he will see the error of his ways and stop this 4-3-3 shit, get some buying cash and sign a few decent players soon!

  35. Zola may be the best thing since sliced bread and harry does not attract the same love but zola paid for savio and run him out of town at a loss why do managers not research the player better if it is your last 2 bob a least get your 2 bob,s worth I hope sincerely we beat Fulham 3 or 4 zip but it is all about the future not the past the West Ham way has won us 3 FACUP,s and a cup winner,s cup in over 100 years we all should get better reward as fans so change to win or everything will stay exactly the same !

    • Jolly says:

Sorry G but we lost NO money on Savio – the reported transfer cost was based on future fees/stipulations.

      • celtichammer says:

spot on Jolly! Plus in a few years time when he is tearing up the Champions League we can all sit back and think of what might have been!

        • MattRyan says:

The thing is (and I'm not for a second saying you are wrong Jolly) but no one really knows how much many players cost! The fee a lot of us believe players cost and are sold for are what the media feed us! In reality, they know less than we do as fans!

The savio fee ranged from £2Million to £12Million depending on what paper we were reading that day!

Zola, Clarke and Nani aren't stupid, they wouldn't pay over the odds for someone like Savio and they definitely wouldn't have made a loss on him!

          • FISHY says:

Savio is very young and could not settle here so the best thing for him & the club was to do a swap which is exactly what we did

  36. Jolly says:

Players signed by 'super scout' 'arry:

Marco Boogers, Ian Dowie, John Harkes, Ilie Dunitrescu, Mark Bowen, Richard Hall, Mike Newell (my personal lowpoint), Paulo Alves, Nigel Winterburn, Gary Charles, Davor Suker, Christian Dailly, Rigobert song, Titi Camara, Kaba Diawara – estimated combined transfer cost???? Give or take about £20m excluding signing on fees and wages. What can you say. the man is a scouting genius.

  37. Is anyone on here have all the fact of the finance side cos if they new so much how come we borrowed money off of dux, nani and sbobet to get Franco and Diamante so therefore unless anyone is the finance director of west ham called stevie wonder savio would have cost us because he could see Bellamy went where did the money go and Ginge where is the money?

    • FISHY says:

Aussie, As far as I see it CB/Straumur wont give us any money to bring in new players so we have to swell to buy or take the sponsorship monies tv revenue
etc as we have done with the help of SBOBET and tied up a couple of deals

fortunately we are currently stable and can manage to pay staff
which is more than Portsmouth can do & have about 10days before they go bust or taken in by PL under their new finance laws for PL clubs

  38. Aaron says:

Check out this West Ham shirts here.

  39. chrischris says:

Our current owners say, that really they want to sell, but for the right price of 120 mil,
This morning I here a party have offered 100 mil.I guess if they don't get 120mil they will sell a few players recoup the 20 mil and then say yes to the 100!

    • MattRyan says:

Not as easy as that mate!

The party offering £100Million won't just be saying here's the money, we'll take what you have left! For the £100Million they will be wanting the assetts which will include players like Matty Upson and Rob Green.

If the owners accept the £100Million, they won't own any players to sell! And if they sell the players before accepting an offer, the people making the offer will reduce that offer in accordance to who has been sold.

      If that makes sense!

    • FISHY says:

      Chris where was that reported??

    • celtichammer says:

Chris thats like someone coming to you and saying they want to buy your house for a price thats below what you are looking for and you deciding to accept it but you want to rip out he plumbing and the electrics and take them with you!
Still think they want to buy?

  40. FISHY says:

Matt, where is that reported about the ownders wanting to sell for 100mil Lol!!

  41. FISHY says:

    Newcastle for sale £100mill+ Championship
West Ham for sale £100mill+ PL

    Who would you buy???

  42. FISHY says:

With regards to GZ and the teams exploits so far this season
we must remember that he is a rookie manager and have to give him the support that we always give as hammers fans
time is on our side and he will turn things round

we will see a far different team against Fulham similar to what we saw against L'pool tomorrow

    • MattRyan says:

I'm all for support mate! But how long for? Do we support him and say "Awww he's just a rookie, all will be ok soon" while we are fighting for our Premiership status? We CAN'T!

Unfortunately, as much as I hate saying it, Zola is a great guy and a great coah but there is only so long we can put up with not winning!

      • James says:

I think this is all a little OTT, What is the chance of us picking up points from now until the end of the season. Fact is Nobody knows!!

Zola has my backing, He is implementing changes to the formation and performance of the club which in time will work. Trust is a good word and I trust Zola. Matt it is the negativity your showing which lets the side down, You know it's way to early to say we are going down so come again with those comments in January.

        • MattRyan says:

What you on about James? It's not negativity! It's realism! We can't support someone forever if they are not getting us results! If we are in teh bottom 3 at Christmas, then we ARE in trouble! No doubt about it!

So if we are in the bottom 3 next Feb, you'd still be ok with giving Zola some time would you? Don't be silly!

I have NOTHING against Zola! I think He's great! But if he's not the man for teh job then so be it! That's just the way it is!

I would love to see him stay at West Ham but if it means he stays at the sacrifice of our Premiership status, then no thanks!

Right now I would rather start playing 'boring football' and guarantee our top flight status! because right now, our 'attractive 4-3-3' stuff is getting us nowhere!

That is NOT negativity, it's facing facts!

It's NEVER too early to be scared of being relagted! So if it's all the same to you, I'll say what I like, when I like!

Yeah so a change of manager will do us good then, I don't think so!

We have been through enough as a club and if anybody is to blame then it has surely got to be the higher managment of the club for lacking support in Zola and Nani.

Last season we had a similar blip at the start and then suddenly picked it up. We will pick up the pace and hopefully be in the top half by crimbo. Tottenham (Touch Wood) should be in the bottom half Lol.

According to another report GZ is taking the lead from Fabio Capello
with the 433 & 442 formats according to West Ham blog this AM
we know that GZ is getting tough on the training ground so I feel that he will take advice from the squad and SC to turn things round on the pitch and we will see a different team over the next few games
we know we are in a false position in th PL and it is only a matter of time before we are where we should be

  44. FISHY says:

Matty, i think those reports re CB/Struamur are what we have already heard
With regards to GZ i feel that he will scrap the 433 & go in favour of the 422 system that we are more used to and according to my previous post he vis taking a leaf out of Cappellos book and doing just that
I feel that we will win tomorrow and this is where the season starts for us
we still have a number of players not yet match fit so with everyone fit and now playing together having bedded in with each other the threat of relegatioh will recede only time will tell but we have to remain positive that GZ will turn things round Lol!!!!

CC player of the month September with Hines a close second
I wonder who will be the golden boy for October

  46. Lofty Perch says:

Hines is only an impact sub at best. He is a long way short of Premier League standard, another Freddie Sears I suspect.

i thought da costa was better than tomkins against city. i wouldnt of given any1 over 6 tho most of the team were around 5. we need more width so i hope behrami plays this week.
if zola plays kovac this week it will show he has no clue unless parker is injured

For 4 yr, the dolphin preformed ok. It cleaned most of the algae and leaves of the pool. A few month in the past, it did not choose up something and I so I went to run it again. There was no response. I figure the twine had been tangled one too many times.
