Luis Jimenez Video

While I wrap a cold towel round my head and continue the Scott Duxbury transcribing, have a butcher’s at this video of Senor Jimenez displaying his wares.

  1. doesnt look as though hes an out n out goal scorer but certanly has some skill and awareness about him.cant wait for the season now.why are the club touting the new shirt about a month b4 its even revealed? strange one.

  2. 4737 Carlin Sir says:

For the most part thats quite exciting. My only concerns are that he seems to have attended the Jurgen Klinsmann school of histrionics and the Carlton Cole tackling weekend boot camp which seems him in the book a few times.

  6. JJ says:

    delicious skills

  7. Brooking still the best says:

Looks like he could be the creative midfield player we have been missing.
What I would like to see now is Upson and Green signing a new contract and the arrival of what everybody knows we need apart from maybe Scott Duxbury, a new striker. Wasn’t we promised three signings? Still early days I guess.

  8. Les says:

Boy looks great can create a lot but we need someone special up front for him to supply.come on Dux get a top quality goal scorer to support cole and we are there.

  9. Roy says:

Could be our missing link – good to see that he looks busy and involved as well as creative as we can’t afford a show-pony in midfield. I’m getting nervous about Upson and the lack of other signings. GZ has made a big thing of having his first pre-season with the squad and it would be reassuring to have seen Upson sign and a few of the other new faces (a right back and a striker would be nice) at the club by now.

Get that done and we can look forward to the new season with more optimism that for many years. Bring it on!

  10. Roymondo says:

Of course they wouldn’t show the bits when he lost the ball or mis-kicked but it looks pretty encouraging. Good skills and doesn’t seem to mind the physical side of the game. I’ve got a good feeling about this boy.

  11. Munky says:

Looks like a good signing… creative, skillful, not afraid to get in amongst it. Could be a very good addition, looking forward to seeing him in our shirt come August.

But that video made my ears hurt.

  12. flynn says:

can pass the ball like noble. run at players like stanislas. his can finish good but u cant judge by just seeing his good clips.

  13. mark from kildare says:

Don’t want to put a downer on someone who has not kicked a ball for us yet BUT there was a similar you tube clip touted when DDM joined last season…………. hope it is not an omen! Also the rumours are that Neil is back in talks; no going back in my book. He had his chance.

  14. Upton Spark says:

Looks ok,but there again so did Faubert before we signed him. I think he could do well, but needs to release the ball in the Premiership and not hang on till he gets fouled or loses the ball.
Good skills and as far as i have heard,is going to get a lot better. I think we shall have to be patiant with him,so no need for our bully boys to get on his back, which I’m sureb they won’t.

  15. hammerswest says:

Looks like he may fill the gap left by Yossi, we really need someone creative in midfield, and he may be our man, fingers crossed. Didn’t mind the soundtrack but I live in California, just north of Mexico.

  16. Dujon says:

With all due respect, the previously mentioned names did not play for Inter Milan, nor have they captained their country (let alone at such a young age).

  17. Richard Jimenez says:

Its a dream that a Jimenez would play for West Ham! For the first time, I will be getting a shirt with my/his name on the back! I’m sure he will be a great success – like all south americans he will play with a lot of passion just like Tevez did.

  18. Brad says:

Well i agree with most that we need another striker which SD has said we looking at with lkes of mancini, if this doesn’t happen then we can look for others, along way to go in transwer window altho they did say they wanted deals done before pre-season which is very near now. Season could be exciting for us this year. Coy Irions!

  19. Goatygav says:

The lad can play a bit.
