Please use this thread to discuss the game as it happens.
Anyone know if the game is being streamed on the net, so I can watch it from my billet in Cardiff?
UPDATE: Here is the team
Green, Neill, Tomkins, Upson, Ilunga, Noble, Spector,
Stanislas, Boa Morte, Di Michele, Tristan.
Subs: Lastuvka, Lopez, Dyer, Nsereko, Collins, Sears, Payne.

Yea Newcastle look finished, wont they go bust if they go down?
I love how everybody thought west ham was the troubled club in October/ November, now look at us compared to Newcastle. People thought West Ham would be in this position by now. Its a testament to the football project and eerybody involved.
Why is Newcastle so screwed? What will happen to them when they go down? And apart from WBA who else is going? Ie go Middlesborough.
I can see Boro and Hull going down (West Brom too, of course), and I see good things coming up for West Ham.
Virtually everything seems to be working out fine for us now (young players coming through from the academy, solid core with Green, Upson, Parker, Noble and Cole, good coaching, good manager, good scouting system, decent medical team).
Can we now please, please, please get a new owner as well who will provide Zola with around 20 million to spend in the transfer window, just in case Zola needs a few more players to make his sytem work even better next season…
Great result. I was a little concerned when I saw the line up, but once again our youngsters seem to be coming up trumps.
For once I was glad to see Chelski win, I would love to see the Geordies relegated, just love it!
COYI
Just back from the game – great performance form the lads – 2 main stories from the game for me;
1. Tompkins was simply brilliant – as good a centre half performance as i have seen at the boleyn for many a year. and
2. LBM in half decent performance shocker!!!!!
Lets be honest, his decision making is still rank awful but for effort and as a creative force, i thought he had a half decent game
Great to see Junior get a good run in the team too – the future is bright , the future is claret and blue.
Thought we looked a really decent side again today, after what was a shaky start. Lucas Neil is no midfielder though and the sooner Parker is back the better; we missed his tackling today.
We scored at crucial times which really killed off Sunderland, who I felt completely rolled over in the second half; I’d be well cheesed off I’d travelled that far to see my team play like that.
Tristan had his best game for west Ham so far, and is finally starting to look fit. Boa Morte ran his socks off and Stanislas looks the real deal.
Overall a great performance and great to see Dyer come on, he could be a real bonus for us for the remainder of the season; he’s a player who really knows what he wants to do when he has the ball.
Up the Hammers!
Let’s be honest this hould be a crap season by rights.
Appalling injuries and terrrible stuff going on off the field – but we’re seventh!!
I have to pinch myself!
Zola must be a genius.
What a great win today, that is very confidence boosting indeed.
Stanislas, Tomkins, Savio, Sears, N’Gala, Hines, Bajner, Edgar (don’t know much about him but it’s been told he’s put in some very good performances lately), Payne, Collison, and a couple of good keepers.
That’s just some of the 18, 19 and 20 year old’s we have. The future is bright!
But what about right now! 7th place in EPL, and man city, tottenham, liverpool lost and Wigan will have a tough battle against Everton tomorrow. I’m yet to watch the highlights, but it sounds like everyone put in a great performance. Go the Hammers !
