Welcome to the New WHTID Blog

Well, it’s here. We spent most of Sunday transferring domains and adding the finishing touches. Still a few to go, but it’s fully functioning. Unfortunately, the comments from the Blackburn Player Performance Results posts couldn’t be transferred over, but apart from that, everything is here.

If you have the blog on an RSS feed, you’ll need to update the feed. Also, remember to update your bookmark!

  9. Graybo says:

Well done, good transfer, despite the window not being open.

Comment about the apostrophe in the banner still stands, though. I expect the graphics person will tweak after morning coffee so it’s going ’Till instead of ‘Till ;)

  10. Goatygav says:

    Looking good Billy-Ray.

Are you going to put the comments back in to the “About” section Iain? It was a decent way for your posters to say a little about themselves for yours, and other poster’s, benefit.

  11. Roshi says:

Very good. Great to see Bobby looking over your shoulder.

  12. Graybo says:

Martin Samuel column in the Daily Fail is an interesting read today … drugs, FA waste of space, Sheff Utd, Us and Fulham, all good stuff.

  13. JackHammer says:

    Iain,
It looks smart, keep up the good work.

  14. RunningHammer says:

    Looks good, Ian!

One small constructive criticism. On a monitor with smaller screen resolution of 1024×768, and using Firefox with a very compact theme, the header section of the site takes up over half the page before you get to any content. Not a major problem, but does mean you have to page down to read the summary of the top post.

  15. Dujon says:

    Very nice site Iain.

might i add this was said on goal.com

“The Irons have accumulated 41 points from 30 games, and are seven shy of automatic UEFA Cup qualification.”

is that referring that we need 48 points to get auto uefa qualification, or that we need to survive 7 games in 7th place to get there?

(mind you we are 8 th now, only separated by GD).

    thanks

  22. Upton Spark says:

    A real winner Ian.Well done. JC(upton spark)

  23. MB says:

Looking Good, but could be better: All you need to do is remove that text above Upson (I guess that is Upson?, cannot see) and re-position the logo. It is hiding Noble.

  24. D. McCailiey says:

Looking good! Love all the little claret and blue touches! COYI.

  25. DevoDevo says:

Well done Iain. Not sure about the choice of players, get rid of the mush on the right and insert Alan Devonshire. :)

  26. Daveip1966 says:

Like the new design, Iain, very clear to read. Especially now I don’t have to squint or play with my browser to read the comments.

  27. mokumhammer says:

Bit like ‘new money’ will take a bit of getting used to, & then 6 months down the line, fail to remember what the old site looked like..!

Looks good. Looking forward to many Hammers debates and celebrations hopefully!!

  29. Aycliffe Hammer says:
