Have you ever considered adding more videos to your blog posts to keep the readers more entertained? I mean I just read through the entire article of yours and it was quite good but since I'm more of a visual learner

Well I'm a gooner but being brought up in Ireland it was Terry Neill's team that got me supporting them. What I'm saying is that I don't have the sort of rivalry that I might have if I was reared in London.
So I've always liked the Hammers for their football and the fact that they were so often heroic underdogs with heartstoping tragic heroism against the likes of Liverpool at Anfield etc.
(we won't mention the "80 Cup Final)
I came on here as I was googling Brian having been a student of his.
So Thanks for a good read and enjoyed the comments and would like to think that all genuine football fans have a lot in common. Cheers

Hi Simon - I've been a supporter of West Ham for nearly half a century - I have written around 14 books on the Hammers and nearly 30 books in all...I have a doctorate and 30 years in youth work - I've travelled all over the world lecturing and working with young people - what makes you think I need credibility or would be sad enough to write to myself?

I appreciate what everyone has written and never expected it. I was glad and honoured to accept Iain's invitation to write on here...why turn that into something horrible? I than you for looking at this, but I do think you owe the people who have written above an apology - take care

Many of these comments sound suspiciously alike in tone and content and are posted within hours of one another. If the website owner would check his traffic feed and IP address for these comments, he would find that they were posted by just one person who seems to have a vested interest in building up Belton's credibility.

Wow! Thanks each! Well, I write out of affection for my club and my home. I've been all round the world (but not Singapore yet HH) but havea nd will always come back to East London...for all its faults, and there are many, it is my dream world and the Hammers are at the centre of that.

But all Hammers' stories are interesting...I'm collecting some for the second edition of Miscellany however I have so many they are beginning to look like a book in themselves, so if anyone wants to contribute, let's do it! One by and from the fans?! 'All the Hammers' (?) - not matter where I roam..ha ha - let's show em what a real team is actually made of...perhaps Iain could pass them on to me...we could donate royalties to the Bobby Moore cancer fund?
