One could forgive Eggert Magnusson if he walked into the Birmingham City boardroom and did an impression of the Harry Enfield who constantly says “I’m considerably richer than yow”. But money doesn’t always buy results, particularly in the short term. Last week’s result was hopefully a one-off but it is to be hoped that a number of changes to the line-up are made today. At the very least I expect to see Boa Morte replaced by Etherington and Bowyer replaced by Kieron Dyer. Zamora and Ferdinand will be lucky to escape the axe too, but may well do so. This is the team I would put out
Green
Pantsil
McCartney
Collins
Upson
Dyer
Noble
Etherington
Ljungberg
Ashton
Bellamy
Subs Zamora, Wright, Mullins, Gabbidon, Spector
UPDATE: I’m told that Collins is injured. According to KUMB, Neill and Parker are fit.
PS The story below was just my idea of a little joke, for those who took it seriously!

Green
neill gabbs upson mccatney
ljungberg dyer parker ethers
ashton bellamy
collins is injured
Looking at the squad now, it looks quite strong, but I guess I’m not telling anyone anything new when i say that it’s glaringly obvious that we need another quality striker and a left back.
The pairing of Ashton and Bellamy look good on paper, but looking past those two, Cole and Zamora wouldnt cut it! If Gudjohnsons knee injury prevents him joining, who would you suggest, that available?
I hope shorey signs but i wonder why we have not put a sly bid in for Hienze and see if we could pinch him from under the noses of those rotten, thieving scousers? We did manage to get Lucus Neil after all!
Is Parker and Neil fit?
Exactly the side id put out!!!!!
Well the inevitable has come to pass, some may say sooner than expected but not me.
The thug Bellamy has brought discord to the dressing room and when placed alongside Bowyer, Dyer, Ferdinand and Lundberg the place must be like a tinder box waiting to burst into flames. Aside from his obvious skills on the pitch I can’t beleive that the management bought such a revotling creature and unless they see the danger he could be the cause of yet another relegation struggle come the end of the season.
The mind boggles.
