We Need 36 Points to have a Chance…

We need 36 points to even have a chance of staying up, so anything but a win this afternoon is unthinkable. Unfortunately I can’t be there as I am on the north Norfolk coast, but I shall be spending a very stressful ninety minutes being soothed by the sound of the waves on Holkham beach.

It’s difficult to guess the team for this afternoon. I hope Ferdinand is not brought back, but I expect he will be. After his appalling showing against Chelsea Boa Morte deserves to be dropped.
I’d like to think we can pull it off this afternoon but I don’t have a good feeling about this game. I hope I am wrong.

    Yes ok, Boa morte wasn’t at his best.. But he was giving his all against Chelsea.. and that’s what we need all the players to be doing..

    Yer i dont think Anton should be brought back, Neill looked solid at CB.

    It’s not on TV hear in Australia.. So I have to watch the good old Live text on the West Ham website… HOORAY!

    Could it go down to a win against Man Utd which would also hand the Premiership to Chelsea ? Yikes !

    Iain, no offence, but perhaps you ought to trip up to Norfolk more often, as it seems to bring your team good luck !

    All the other results were in our favour today except for Man U. Even if we do well against Wigan and Bolton, with the worst goal difference we may still need a point or two at Man U, so we need them to have won the Prem by then, and be in the Champs final as well as the FA Cup Final, and hopefully they will put out the reserves. That is assuming we haven’t been docked points by then anyway, of course!
